  • Publication number: 20040015730
Abstract: It is unknown what information terminals and how many information terminals are connected to one contracted information terminal. Accordingly, contents licensed to use by only family members of one household may be used by other persons. In view of such a situation, it is necessary to create secure environments. The present invention manages subterminals registered in all main terminals in a subterminal management part of a host device, and confirms validity of registration and deregistration by contract-time personal authentication information managed in a main terminal contract management part. Thereby, contents can be delivered only to reliable home networks.

  • Publication number: 20020184567
Abstract: A receiving apparatus conducting reception and storage on a program basis is designed so as to be able to determine whether contents transmitted within a program time frame have been correctly stored. To achieve this, a contents information adding part adds flags indicating first and last contents within a program time frame, and data event IDs for identifying time frames (contents frames) for transmitting contents while incrementing them one at a time. A receive success/failure evaluating part of the receiving apparatus checks the flags indicating first and last contents and the increment status of the data event IDs to determine whether reception has been correctly made.

  • Publication number: 20020059624
Abstract: A server based broadcast system has a receiver capable of automatically storing broadcasted contents and allowing a user to enjoy playback of an intended service element involved in the stored contents. Information necessary to operate this server based broadcast system, such as service component information and renewal schedule, is transmitted as a meta-content equivalent to a content composing the substance of this server based broadcast service. Content information, including private information inherent to each content as well as common information applicable to a plurality of contents, is added to each content to be broadcasted and carried on a carousel for data broadcasting. A receiver makes a content group with reference to the common information.

  • Patent number: 4560661
Abstract: Disclosed is a process for purifying an enzyme contained in a solution such as cell extract liquor or fermentation culture liquor. The crude enzyme solution is brought into contact with either a strongly acidic cation exchange resin of high porous type or a strongly basic anion exchange resin of high porous type to adsorb the enzyme on the resin. An eluting agent is then passed through the resin to elute out the enzyme as a purified enzyme solution.
