  • Publication number: 20230013090
Abstract: An element member (10) according to the invention includes a fixing member (11) and a plurality of fastener elements (20, 20a, 20b) attached to the fixing member (11), characterized in that the fastener element (20, 20a, 20b) includes an element fixing portion (22) fixed to the fixing member (11), a coupling portion (23) extending from the element fixing portion (22) in a width direction, and a fin portion (24, 25, 26) extending from the element fixing portion (22) to a side opposite to the coupling portion (23). The fastener element (20, 20a, 20b) is fixed to the fixing member (11) only at the element fixing portion (22). As a result, in a slide fastener-attached product (1) manufactured by using the element member (10), the orientation of the fastener element (20, 20a, 20b) is prevented from being tilted with respect to a fastener attached member (2) and smooth sliding operation of a slider (40) can be ensured.

Abstract: Disclosed is an absorbent article including a projecting-and-depressed sheet (10) as a constituent member, the absorbent article having a longitudinal direction and a width direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction. The projecting-and-depressed sheet (10) has a plurality of depressions (3) and projections (4) on a skin-facing surface to be brought into contact with the wearer's skin. In a given direction, a movable range of an apex (40a) of the projection (4) of the projecting-and-depressed sheet (10) is 30% or greater to the length (L2) of a bottom portion of the projection (4). On the skin-facing surface of the projecting-and-depressed sheet (10), the mean friction coefficient MIU in the longitudinal direction (X) is 0.3 or less, and a difference in friction coefficient between a forward path and a return path when moved back and forth along the longitudinal direction (X) is less than 0.1. The projecting-and-depressed sheet (10) has a work of compression of 2.

  • Publication number: 20210215660
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for evaluating comfort evoking performance of sheets, with which whether or not a sheet has an ability to evoke comfort as a result of the sheet being touched, or a level of the ability is evaluated. The method includes the following steps (A) to (D): (A) bringing a test sheet, which is an evaluation target, into contact with the skin or hairs of an animal and applying a tactile stimulation to the animal; (B) extracting a biological sample from the animal after the tactile stimulation has been applied; (C) measuring an amount of oxytocin in the biological sample; and (D) comparing the amount of oxytocin measured with an amount of oxytocin in a biological sample extracted from the animal under a condition where there is no effect of the tactile stimulation.

  • Publication number: 20210059869
Abstract: An absorbent article (1) of the present invention includes a leg cuff (24). The leg cuff (24) has leg elastic members (25). The leg cuff (24) can be divided, by an imaginary line (IL) passing through the center (ct) between an outermost leg elastic member (25s) that is located farthest outward and an innermost leg elastic member (25i) that is located farthest inward, into a leg cuff first region (ST) that extends from the imaginary line (IL) up to and including the outermost leg elastic member (25s) and a leg cuff second region (IT) that extends from the imaginary line (IL) up to and including the innermost leg elastic member (25i). When the elongation amount of the leg cuff first region (ST) and the leg cuff second region (IT) in a natural state is defined as 0, and the elongation amount thereof in a maximally stretched state is defined as 100, the stress in the leg cuff first region (ST) is greater than the stress in the leg cuff second region (IT) when the elongation amount is 5.

  • Patent number: 10863801
Abstract: A slide fastener tape member includes a tape body and a core string portion disposed at a tape side edge portion of the tape body along a length direction. The core string portion is formed by fixing a string member at the tape side edge portion along the length direction by machine sewing. The string member is fixed linearly such that at least one thread used for machine sewing crosses while contacting an outer peripheral surface of the string member without being pierced by a needle thread of machine sewing. Thus, since the core string portion can be easily provided by fixing the string member to the tape body having desired properties at a later stage, the value-added tape members can be easily manufactured at a relatively low cost.

  • Publication number: 20200289340
Abstract: A leak-proof cuff (28) is divided into a lower region (40) and a upper region (41). The upper region (41) includes a first region (41A) located at the side of a free edge (28B) relative to the center in the width direction (Y) and a second region (41B) located at the side of a folding line (42). In each of the first region (41A) and the second region (41B), at least one elastic member (29) extending along the longitudinal direction (X) is provided in a stretched state. In a case where the elongation of the upper region (41) in a natural state is 0, and the elongation in a maximum stretched state is 100, the stress ?1 of the first region (41A) is larger than the stress ?2 of the second region (41B) at an elongation of 5, and the stress ?2 of the second region (41B) is larger than the stress ?1 of the first region (41A) at an elongation of 100.
