  • Patent number: 9837643
Abstract: A film covered battery has a battery element equipped with a plurality of electrode plates laminated via separators, and an exterior film for hermetically sealing the battery element. A cover film is attached to a hollow present in predetermined regions set on a surface of the exterior film. The predetermined regions are regions obtained by removing overlap regions from projected regions obtained by projecting the electrode plates to the surface of the exterior film, the overlap regions being regions where the projected regions overlap with members interposed between the electrode plates at the outermost layers and the exterior film. It is possible to cover the hollow on the surface, without increasing the thickness of the film covered battery.

  • Patent number: 8318821
Abstract: Provided is a process for producing a rigid foamed synthetic resin, wherein, as a blowing agent, a hydrocarbon compound and water are used, and a rigid foamed synthetic resin provided with dimensional stability, heat insulating properties, and possibly reduced weight can be obtained. The process involves reacting a polyol (P) with a polyisocyanate (I) in the presence of a blowing agent, a foam stabilizer and a catalyst, wherein the blowing agent has at least a C2-8 hydrocarbon compound and water; the polyol (P) has a specific polyesterpolyol (A), a specific polyetherpolyol (B), and a polymer-dispersed polyol (Z) having fine polymer particles (M) dispersed; and the isocyanate index of the polyol (P) and the polyisocyanate (I) is over 200 and at most 400.

Abstract: To provide a process for producing a rigid foamed synthetic resin, wherein, as a blowing agent, a hydrocarbon compound and water are used, and whereby it is possible to obtain a rigid foamed synthetic resin provided with both dimensional stability and heat insulating properties, and it is possible to reduce its weight. A process for producing a rigid foamed synthetic resin, which comprises reacting a polyol (P) with a polyisocyanate (I) in the presence of a blowing agent, a foam stabilizer and a catalyst, wherein as the blowing agent, at least a C2-8 hydrocarbon compound and water are used; the polyol (P) contains a specific polyesterpolyol (A), a specific polyetherpolyol (B), and a polymer-dispersed polyol (Z) having fine polymer particles (M) dispersed; and the isocyanate index of the polyol (P) and the polyisocyanate (I) is over 200 and at most 400.

  • Patent number: 4271310
Abstract: Cholinesterase activity is determined by means of the choline and/or acid obtained by the action of cholinesterase on a compound of the formula: ##STR1## [wherein A represents a hydrogen atom or a C.sub.1-5 alkyl or alkoxy group and B represents a group of the formula --R-COO-- (in which --R-- represents an alkenyl group with 2 to 6 carbon atoms); or A represents a hydroxy group in either or both o-positions of the benzene ring or a C.sub.1-5 alkyl group and B represents a group of the formula --COO--; X represents a stabilizing anion and n represents the charge on the anion]. The method of the invention ensures a high resistance to saturation, good stability of the compounds used as substrates, a conveniently low reaction rate and a high degree of accuracy.Certain of the compounds of formula I as defined above are novel compounds which are claimed per se.Examples of the method of the present invention are given and the preparation of the novel compounds is described and exemplified.
