  • Patent number: 11923492
Abstract: An apparatus for manufacturing a bagged electrode includes a conveying unit, a first bonding unit, a second bonding unit, and a separating unit. The conveying unit conveys an electrode in a manner interposed between a pair of long separator materials unwound from a pair of rolls. The first bonding unit bonds the pair of long separator materials outside the electrode along a conveyance direction without stopping conveyance of the electrode and the pair of long separator materials. The second bonding unit bonds the pair of long separator materials outside the electrode along a direction intersecting the conveyance direction without stopping conveyance of the electrode and the pair of long separator materials. The separating unit cuts the pair of long separator materials along the direction intersecting the conveyance direction to cut off the bagged electrode without stopping conveyance of the electrode and the pair of long separator materials.

  • Patent number: 8351711
Abstract: A face categorizing apparatus for categorizing contours of a face of an examined subject is disclosed that includes image capturing means for capturing a face image of the face of the examined subject; control means for controlling operations for categorizing the face of the captured face image into one of at least four predetermined types of categories based on at least two indices including facial space and facial depth/bone structure/fleshiness; and indication means for indicating a categorization result of categorizing the face by the control means on a map having the four predetermined types of categories positioned at corresponding quadrants of a plane coordinate system.

  • Publication number: 20090149554
Abstract: The object of the present invention is to provide a production method of water-soluble silane derivatives, the separation and purification of which are easy, and the reaction for which can be conducted under an industrially practicable temperature condition (under the temperature condition of 90° C. or lower) and to provide compounds with which solid gelatinous external preparations, with excellent stability against a temperature change and against an effect of additives and with excellent usability, can be prepared. The water-soluble silane derivative could be formed by the substitution reaction of a metal alkoxide with a polyhydric alcohol under the presence of a solid catalyst. According to this production method, the separation of the catalyst from the product is very easy, and the reaction can be carried out under the temperature condition of 90° C. or lower.

  • Publication number: 20090010971
Abstract: The method for producing a disintegratable zinc oxide powder of the present invention is characterized by comprising: neutralizing an aqueous solution containing a water-soluble zinc salt and a carboxylic acid or an aqueous solution containing a water-soluble zinc carboxylate with an alkali carbonate to produce precipitate; and firing the precipitate to obtain zinc oxide powder. As a water-soluble zinc salt, zinc chloride or zinc acetate is preferably used. As an acid, acetic acid is preferably used. As an alkali carbonate, sodium carbonate is preferably used. The disintegratable zinc oxide powder has the morphology in which the primary particles of zinc oxide are aggregated to form secondary particles, and these secondary particles are further aggregated to form the zinc oxide powder. The powder can achieve excellent UV protection capability, excellent transparency, and excellent feeling in use through its disintegration. Also, it has good usability and good handling properties.

  • Patent number: 5895855
Abstract: In an ultrasonic inspection apparatus, a piezoelectric element having a first resonant frequency is stuck to a complex resonance member having a second resonant frequency. The second resonant frequency is determined with a conversion in terms of half wavelength. A resultant ultrasonic probe transmits/receives ultrasonic waves of the first resonant frequency and a plurality of other frequencies. In constructing an ultrasonic tomographic image of the object to be inspected from a received signal obtained by using the ultrasonic probe, the imaging frequency is changed according to the depth in the object to be inspected.
