The logic is configured to send the changed communication lane status for the specific communication lane to the communication interface at the second end and split a data frame accordingly. The communication interface provides seamless data communication between the first end and the second end of the communication link, even in case of a lane failure.

The network device adjusts a frame type of the first data frame to a preemptable frame if the frame type of the first data frame is an express frame. Then, the network device stops transmitting the first data frame, and starts to transmit the second data frame.

    Abstract: The invention relates to magnetic sensor comprising a sensor element that is able to generate a spin-orbit torque (SOT). The SOT acts as a transverse bias field to set a proper working point for the sensor and so ensure that it responds linearly to an external field with maximized sensitivity. It also functions as a longitudinal bias field to suppress domain wall nucleation and propagation. The use of SOT effective field for biasing not only simplifies the sensor structure but also makes it possible to make an ultrathin and semi-transparent magnetic sensor.
