  • Publication number: 20050158793
Abstract: This invention provides a method wherein a protein sparingly soluble in water, or a protein in a hardly extractable state, is detected sharply and easily in subsequent immunoreaction while high efficiency of extraction from a sample is maintained. Disclosed is a highly sensitive and easy immunoassay characterized in that a water-sparingly-soluble protein in a sample, or a protein in a hardly extractable state, is extracted/solubilized with an aqueous solvent containing an ionic surfactant at relatively high concentration, and then the protein in the extract is detected directly by an antibody raised against the protein previously denatured with the ionic surfactant.

  • Patent number: 5805678
Abstract: A facsimile system with the body thereof usable as a subunit of a cordless telephone is disclosed. A parent unit is connected to the telephone line. A facsimile subunit is connected by radio to the parent unit. A telephone subunit is also connected by radio to the parent unit. A circuit included in the parent unit detects a signal indicating that the other party is in facsimile transmission mode. When a call signal is detected from the telephone line, the parent unit connects the line. When a CNG signal is detected, on the other hand, the parent unit connects the facsimile subunit by radio. In the case where a CNG signal is not detected, the parent unit starts the ring-up tone on the telephone subunit. An AGC circuit and a voice mute circuit are included in the parent unit.

  • Patent number: 5748715
Abstract: A facsimile apparatus which utilizes a dialing signal of a tone signal and can be used as a called-side communication apparatus to print desired character string information through a simple operation of a calling-side telephone set, and also a facsimile communication method in the facsimile apparatus. In the called-side facsimile apparatus, a character string information memory stores therein a plurality of character string information and unique numbers associated therewith; whereas a character information memory stores therein image information corresponding to the respective character string information. When a user of the calling-side communication apparatus enters a number corresponding to desired character string information, this causes a dialing signal indicative of the number to be transmitted to the facsimile apparatus.

  • Patent number: 5606020
Abstract: A receptor (binding protein) specific for 6(R)-L-erythro-5,6,7,8-tetrahydrobiopterin which is a drug effective for neuropsychiatric disorders such as infantile autism is provided. This receptor is contained in the cytosol fraction or the membrane fraction obtained from a homogenate of an animal organ. It is solubilized from the membrane fraction in the presence of 3-{(3-cholamidopropyl)-dimethylammonio}-1-propanesulfonate (CHAPS). This receptor is characterized in that the binding ability thereof to 6R-BH4 is mostly lost by heating at 100.degree. C. for 10 minutes, the binding ability thereof to 6R-BH4 is significantly lost by incubating with trypsin at 37.degree. C. for 15 minutes, and said receptor shows a relative molecular weight of about 340 to 380 kilodaltons when specifically bound to tritium-labeled 6R-BH4 and analyzed with a molecular sieve provided with a COSMOSIL 5 Diol-300 column.
