  • Patent number: 8348341
Abstract: A chair assembly has a base frame, a pivot frame, a backrest frame, a seat frame and a backrest-adjusting device. The pivot frame is mounted pivotally on the base frame. The backrest frame is mounted securely on the pivot frame. The backrest-adjusting device is mounted between the base frame and the pivot frame and has a torsion spring biasing the pivot frame and the backrest frame to pivot forward. The backrest-adjusting device tightens or loosens the torsion spring to change the resilient force provided to the backrest frame against users' back. Therefore, the chair assembly adapts to differ users well.

  • Patent number: 8303035
Abstract: A chair assembly has a base frame, a backrest frame, a seat frame and a seat-adjusting device. The backrest frame is mounted on the base frame. The seat frame is connected pivotally to the base frame. The seat-adjusting device is mounted between the base frame and the seat frame and may be manipulated to move the seat bar backward or forward relative to the base frame. Therefore, a distance between the seat frame and the backrest frame may be adjusted to adapt for different users.

  • Patent number: 7730594
Abstract: A connector for stretch straps of a chair is mounted on the chair to hold and stretch a stretch strap with an opposite connector mounted on the chair and has a receiving recess formed inside the connector and a connecting slot formed through the top of the connector and communicating with the receiving recess. One end of the stretch strap extends through the connecting slot to be held by a binder in the receiving recesses. A bottom of the stretch strap is propped out by a top edge of the connecting slot so that a top of the stretch strap is protrudent relative to the top of the connector and a sharp edge formed between the top and the front end of the connector. Thus, a user's body is prevented from contacting with the rigid top and the sharp edge of the connector to comfortably sit on the chair.

  • Publication number: 20080238177
Abstract: A stretch strap of a chair has multiple stretch ropes and a soft sleeve. The soft sleeve receives the two stretch ropes therein. Each stretch rope has multiple rubber cords and a covering layer binding the rubber cords therein. Since the covering layer is a weave, so there are gaps on the covering layer and a concave is formed between the two adjacent stretch ropes, when the stretch ropes are tied together. However, the woven covering layer is inside of the soft sleeve, the soft sleeve prevents dirt from receiving in the gaps and the concaves. In addition, a chair user directly sits on the soft sleeve not on the woven covering layers and feels comfortable.

  • Patent number: 7160260
Abstract: A massage bed includes a frame with four sides. The frame has multiple seats mounted at the four sides. Multiple elastic straps are mounted by the seats and interleavedly extend between the opposite sides in longitudinal and transversal directions. Multiple massage members are individually mounted on the transversal elastic straps. Multiple clamping members are respectively mounted cross points of the longitudinal and transversal elastic straps. A cover with good elasticity and air permeability is spread over the frame. Whereby, the massage bed has a good air permeability and is easy to maintain.
