  • Publication number: 20080166205
Abstract: The present invention pertains to a screw with a removable tip section comprising a shank and a tip section; wherein the shank has a first threaded section consisted of an upper and a lower threaded sections and a recess defined at the surface of an end face. Furthermore, the tip section includes a second threaded section disposed thereon and an insertion having a coincident shape with the recess. By means of those threaded sections with different outer diameters, the screw is smoothly driven into the metal objects without being interfered in drilling and steadily fixed therein without swing after screwing; After screwing in, the tip section is alternatively removed from the shank by a wrench to be put into the recess to tighten or loosen the screw so as to increase the convenience of using.

  • Publication number: 20080056845
Abstract: A screw assembly mainly includes a shank; the shank engaged a recess in the shank; said recess inserted into a tip section, and the tip section inserted into the shank. Besides, the tip section has second threads, which connected to first threads. And the second threads have the same pitch with the first threads so that the first threads easily screwed into a metal objects by rotating the tip section. The second threads with the first threads rotated into the metal object smoothly so that reduces the first threads damaged, and adjusted the screw assembly by engaged a wrench with the recess from underside of the metal objects.

  • Publication number: 20070207899
Abstract: A revolution counter for wrist exerciser includes a generator module, at least a detection element pair, a wireless transmission module, and wireless receiver. The generator module, the detection elements, and the wireless transmission module are arranged between a rotor and a stationary casing of the wrist exerciser. The rotation of the rotor with respect to the casing induces a voltage in the generator module, which is supplied to the detection elements and the wireless transmission module. The detection elements detect the rotation of the rotor and generate a signal associated with data of the rotation to the wireless transmission module. The wireless transmission module converts the signal into corresponding data and transmits the data in a wireless manner. The wireless receiver receives the data and displays the data in a display device or transmits the data to an external electronic device.

  • Publication number: 20070171165
Abstract: Methods for controlling display panels, in which the display panel comprises a plurality of pixels and wherein each of the plurality of pixels comprises a plurality of sub-pixels, are provided. A representative the method comprises: controlling a timing sequence for turning on the pixels such that at least one of: an average influence of coupling of each of the sub-pixels in two sequential time frames is the same; and an average influence of coupling of two of the sub-pixels on two adjacent rows of the sub-pixels is the same.

  • Publication number: 20050113214
Abstract: A wrist exerciser includes a casing comprised of upper and lower casing members mounted together to form a substantially spherical shape. A rotor has opposite shafts rotatably received in the holes defined in the casing for rotatably supporting the rotor in the casing. Illumination elements are mounted on an outside surface of the rotor. A power source is fixed in the rotor for powering the illumination elements. A control circuit is in electrical connection with the power source and the illumination elements for selectively lighting the illumination elements. A transmission device is mounted in the rotor and has an interface circuit connected to the control circuit and a socket connector in connection with the interface circuit.

  • Publication number: 20050107218
Abstract: A data transmission device is mounted to a wrist exerciser for detecting the rotational speed of a rotor inside the wrist exerciser and generating and transmitting exercising data associated with the rotational speed from the wrist exerciser to an external device. The data transmission device includes a transmitter unit coupled to a casing of the wrist exerciser and having a sensor for detecting the rotational speed of the rotor and issuing a detection signal, and a processing circuit receiving and processing the detection signal to provide an output of the exercising data, including counts of rotation and the rotational speed. A transmission cable has a first end connectable with the output of the processing circuit to receive the exercising data and a second end engageable with a counterpart device of the external device for forwarding the exercising data to the external device.

  • Publication number: 20050101440
Abstract: A balance-enhancing and vibration-reducing device is incorporated in a wrist exerciser to enhance force balance and reduce vibration caused in the operation of the wrist exerciser. The device includes a ring mounted in a casing of the wrist exerciser and defining diametrically opposite holes that rotatably receive axles of a rotor of the wrist exerciser. A coupler is mounted to an inner circumference of the ring in position corresponding to at least one of the holes. The coupler includes a tube extending in a radial direction of the ring. The tube forms a central bore to rotatably receive the corresponding axle. A plurality of resilient pawls is formed at a free end of the tube and distributed along a circumference of the free end. A balance-enhancing and vibration-reducing element has a central bore fit over the tube of the coupler by elastically deforming the pawls.

  • Publication number: 20050092040
Abstract: A door lock includes a lock housing, a latch bolt and a deadbolt that are operable for movement between locking and unlocking positions, a door handle and a manually operable member, each of which has a shaft portion that is capable of driving a respective one of the latch bolt and the deadbolt between the locking and unlocking positions, and a coupler retained slidably in the lock housing. When the latch bolt and the deadbolt are in the locking positions, and the door handle is rotated to drive movement of the latch bolt to the unlocking position, the shaft portion of the door handle drives the coupler so as to displace the coupler in the lock housing such that the coupler engages the shaft portion of the manually operable member so as to rotate the manually operable member to drive movement of the deadbolt to the unlocking position.
