    Abstract: Provided is data transmission and reception that transmits and receives data using a wireless power between wireless power transmitter and a wireless power receiver. An in-band data communication apparatus using a wireless power may include a modulating unit configured to modulate data by mixing a predetermined signal and pulse signal-type data; a demodulating unit configured to detect reflected power generated due to impedance mismatching between a source resonator and a target resonator, and to demodulate received data based on a variance of the reflected power; a source resonance unit configured to transmit transmission power including the modulated data to the target resonator, and to receive the reflected power; and a controller to control the pulse signal-type data, and to control impedance matching between the source resonator and the target resonator.
