Abstract: A client device coupled to a makeup consultation device establishes a makeup consultation session with the makeup consultation device. The client device obtains a plurality of makeup snapshots from the makeup consultation device, the makeup snapshots each depicting a different makeup effect on a digital image of the user. A user interface is displayed to the user, the user interface comprising a grouping of preview windows, each of the preview windows depicting one of the plurality of makeup snapshots. The client device obtains a selection of one of the preview windows for resuming the makeup consultation and transmits the selection to the makeup consultation device, where the makeup professional resumes the makeup consultation based on the makeup snapshot depicted in the selected preview window.
