A plate sealing adhesive (400) is applied to an interface between the upper plate and the lower plate, and encircling the liquid crystal layer. The plate sealing adhesive defines an opening (403) therein; and an electrically conductive adhesive (500) is applied in the opening. A method for manufacturing the liquid crystal display panel is also disclosed. The plate sealing adhesive can be evenly distributed.
