In a vehicle battery management system including a battery unit configured to supply power to an electric vehicle, and a controller configured to control the battery unit, the battery unit is divided into a first battery unit and a second battery unit, the first battery unit supplies power to a motor for generating driving force of the electric vehicle, the second battery unit supplies power to an outside of the electric vehicle, the controller performs a control operation so that power supplied from the first battery unit is supplied to the outside of the electric vehicle or power supplied from the second battery unit is supplied to the motor based on an SOC of each of the first battery unit and the second battery unit and state information of the electric vehicle.
