  • Publication number: 20250010630
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a heater, an accumulation portion, a drive control portion, and a flow processing portion. The heater warms ink at a warming position more on an upstream side of a flowing direction than an ejection portion on a supply path of the ink. The accumulation portion is provided in a specific section from the warming position to the ejection portion on the supply path and accumulates the ink. The drive control portion controls drive of the heater based on a difference between a temperature of the ink at the warming position and a target temperature. The flow processing portion causes, when the temperature of the ink in the specific section is smaller than a threshold value, the ink warmed by the heater to flow along the supply path and a recovery path of waste ink until the ink reaches the ejection portion.

  • Publication number: 20250010622
Abstract: A warming device includes a corrugated tube, a storing portion, a heater, a temperature sensor, a drive control portion, and a determination processing portion. The corrugated tube includes a spiral portion. The storing portion stores the spiral portion and a liquid heating medium used for warming the spiral portion. The heater heats the storing portion. The temperature sensor is of a contact type, is provided at a position higher than the spiral portion, and is used for detecting a temperature of the heating medium. The drive control portion controls drive of the heater based on a detection temperature detected by the temperature sensor. The determination processing portion determines, based on the detection temperature obtained after a start of the drive of the heater, whether it is a shortage state where a storage amount of the heating medium in the storing portion falls below a predetermined lower limit amount.

  • Publication number: 20250010623
Abstract: A warming device includes a corrugated tube, a storing portion, a heater, a water level sensor, and a determination processing portion. The corrugated tube includes a spiral portion that is formed spirally. The storing portion stores the spiral portion and a liquid heating medium used for warming the spiral portion. The heater heats the storing portion. The water level sensor detects a water level of the heating medium in the storing portion. The determination processing portion determines, based on a detection water level detected by the water level sensor, whether or not the heating medium is in a heating medium shortage state where a storage amount of the heating medium in the storing portion falls below a predetermined lower limit amount.

  • Publication number: 20250010624
Abstract: A warming device includes a corrugated tube, a storing portion, and a heater. The corrugated tube includes a spiral portion that is formed spirally. The storing portion stores the spiral portion and a liquid heating medium used for warming the spiral portion. The heater heats a portion of the storing portion that is lower than an upper end portion of the spiral portion and does not heat a portion of the storing portion that is higher than the upper end portion.

  • Publication number: 20250010617
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a first ink flow path, a second ink flow path, a heater, and a flow processing portion. The first ink flow path forms a supply path of ink that reaches an ejection portion which ejects the ink. The second ink flow path forms a recovery path of waste ink ejected by the ejection portion. The heater warms the ink at a warming position that is more on an upstream side of a flowing direction of the ink than the ejection portion on the supply path. The flow processing portion causes, when a temperature of the ink in a specific section from the warming position to the ejection portion on the supply path is smaller than a threshold value, the ink warmed by the heater to flow along the supply path and the recovery path until the ink reaches the ejection portion.

  • Publication number: 20240140090
Abstract: A heating device includes a tube, a container, a heater, and heat medium. The tube through which liquid flows is spirally formed. The container has a cylindrical part whose axial direction is along a spiral direction of the tube and stores the tube. The heater is provided in the cylindrical part. The heat medium is in liquid form and fills the container.

  • Publication number: 20240075744
Abstract: An inkjet recording device includes a first tank, a second tank and a communicating passage. The first tank stores a first liquid containing a volatile component and supplies the first liquid to an inkjet head. The second tank has a vent hole leading to an atmosphere and stores a second liquid containing the volatile component. The communicating passage communicates a space above a liquid level in the first tank with a space above a liquid level in the second tank.
