Publication number: 20150026073Abstract: Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for generating customer solutions using real-time information for new customer sales and/or current customer support. In one implementation, technical infrastructure data for a provider network is retrieved from one or more databases. The technical infrastructure data represents network assets and capabilities. Location information is obtained for at least one customer site. A product selection including a set of design attributes for one or more telecommunication products is received. A network access point for providing the one or more telecommunication products is determined based on a correlation of the technical infrastructure data with the location information. A configuration for the at least one customer site is generated based on the product selection. A design is generated based on the network access point and the at least one configured customer site.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 18, 2014Publication date: January 22, 2015Applicant: Level 3 Communications, LLC.Inventors: Jeff Storey, Yunas Nadiadi, Rene Grippo, Allen E. Publication number: 20140342694Abstract: Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for processing telecommunication orders taking advantage of the infrastructure and capabilities of a plurality of different providers. In one implementation, one or more databases store provider data received from a plurality of provider members. The provider data is aggregated based on at least one of a plurality of attributes associated with one or more telecommunication packages. The plurality of attributes include infrastructure information, location information, and pricing information. At least one server is in communication with the one or more databases. The at least one server is configured to generate a design for a customer order based on the aggregated provider data. The design uses at least one of the plurality of provider members to provide a customer telecommunication package at one or more customer sites. The customer telecommunication package is selected from the one or more telecommunication packages.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 14, 2014Publication date: November 20, 2014Applicant: Level 3 Communications, LLCInventors: Paul Farnsworth, Eric David Gundersen, Yunas Nadiadi, Peter Clark Snee

Patent number: 6691232Abstract: By including environment information in a security policy, a security architecture advantageously allows temporal, locational, connection type and/or client capabilities-related information to affect the sufficiency of a given credential type (and associated authentication scheme) for access to a particular information resource. In some configurations, time of access, originating location (physical or network) and/or connection type form a risk profile that can be factored into credential type sufficiency. In some configurations, changing environmental parameters may cause a previously sufficient credential to become insufficient. Alternatively, an authenticated credential previously insufficient for access at a given trust level may be sufficient based on a changed or more fully parameterized session environment. In some configurations, the use of session tracking facilites (e.g., the information content of session tokens) can be tailored to environmental parameters (e.g., connection type or location).Type: GrantFiled: August 5, 1999Date of Patent: February 10, 2004Assignee: Sun Microsystems, Inc.Inventors: David L.
