  • Patent number: 10581861
Abstract: Aspects of the present invention disclose a method, computer program product, and system for determining whether an endpoint meets compliance standards. The method includes one or more processors receiving an endpoint certificate associated with an endpoint device that is requesting to access a resource, wherein the endpoint certificate includes a device fingerprint. The method further includes one or more processors determining compliance level of the endpoint device. The method further includes one or more processors validating credentials of the endpoint device. The method further includes one or more processors determining whether the endpoint device meets compliance standards based on the endpoint certificate, the determined compliance level, and the credentials of the endpoint device.

  • Patent number: 10556336
Abstract: Methods and systems for modifying the inertial parameters used in a virtual robot model that simulates the interactions of a real-world robot with an environment to better reflect the actual inertial properties of the real-world robot. In one aspect, a method includes obtaining joint physical parameter measurements for the joints of a real-world robot, determining simulated joint physical parameter values for each of the joint physical parameter measurements, and adjusting an estimate of inertial properties of the real-world robot used by the virtual robot dynamic model to reduce a difference between the simulated joint physical parameter values and the corresponding joint physical parameter measurements.

  • Publication number: 20190197758
Abstract: In embodiments of animation using keyframing and projected dynamics simulation, an animation object is displayed with handles associated with object regions for the animation object, each handle being selectable for setting animation constraints on an object region. An animation simulator receives a user input designating a particular handle with an animation constraint, and sets the animation constraint on the particular handle for the associated object region. The animation simulator also receives another user input, designating a timing of the object region associated with the particular handle of the animation object through multiple frames in an animation sequence.

  • Publication number: 20190084151
Abstract: Implementations are directed to training a machine learning model that, once trained, is used in performance of robotic grasping and/or other manipulation task(s) by a robot. The model can be trained using simulated training examples that are based on simulated data that is based on simulated robot(s) attempting simulated manipulations of various simulated objects. At least portions of the model can also be trained based on real training examples that are based on data from real-world physical robots attempting manipulations of various objects. The simulated training examples can be utilized to train the model to predict an output that can be utilized in a particular task—and the real training examples used to adapt at least a portion of the model to the real-world domain can be tailored to a distinct task. In some implementations, domain-adversarial similarity losses are determined during training, and utilized to regularize at least portion(s) of the model.

  • Publication number: 20170294465
Abstract: A film patterning method is provided. The method comprises: performing a dry etching process on a film to be patterned, so as to form a patterned film; removing a suspended particle on the patterned film; and performing another dry etching process on the patterned film after the suspended particle is removed, to form a final pattern of the film. By moving or completely removing the suspended particle on the patterned film and then performing another dry etching process on the patterned film to etch away the etching residue, existence of the etching residue is completely avoided in the final pattern of the film, so that the product yield is improved and the product quality is ensured.
