  • Patent number: 11943077
Abstract: A multidrop network system includes N network devices. The N network devices include a master device and multiple slave devices, and each network device has an identification code as its own identification in the multidrop network system. The N network devices have N identification codes and obtain transmission opportunities in turn according to the N identification codes in each round of data transmission. Each network device performs a count operation to generate a current count value, and when the identification code of a network device is the same as the current count value, this network device obtains a transmission opportunity. After a device obtains the transmission opportunity, it determines whether a cut-in signal from another network device is observed in a front duration of a predetermined time slot, and then determines whether to abandon/defer the right to start transmitting in the remaining duration of the predetermined time slot.

  • Publication number: 20150209284
Abstract: The present invention discloses a dual-targeting drug carrier and a method for fabricating the same, wherein WGA- and FA-modified MPEG-PLA nanoparticles of the carrier enable the anticancer drugs encapsulated thereinside to pass through BBB and target human glioblastoma cells. The dual-target drug carrier is fabricated in an emulsion-solvent evaporation technology and verified with an in-vitro BBB model formed of HBMECs, HAs and HBVPs. The present invention can increase the permeability of the in-vitro BBB model to the dual-target drug carrier and promote the glioblastoma-inhibition effect. Therefore, the present invention would contribute to the clinical therapy of brain cancers substantially in the future.

  • Publication number: 20140295547
Abstract: A method to construct an in-vitro human blood brain barrier (BBB) model is disclosed, which comprises steps: attaching suspension liquids of human brain vascular pericytes (HBVPs) and human astrocytes (HAs) by a ratio of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:6 to a bottom surface of a filter membrane of a culture dish to plant HBVPs and HAs on the bottom surface; filling a suspension liquid of human brain microvascular endothelial cells (HBMECs) into a top surface of the filter membrane to plant HBMECs on the top surface; placing the culture dish in a well plate containing a culture medium, and placing the well plate in a carbon-dioxide incubator; replacing the culture medium with a condition medium; and replacing the condition medium once daily for a plurality of days. Thereby is constructed an in-vitro human BBB model of high medical research availability.

  • Patent number: 8184451
Abstract: A fixing structure for an electronic card is suitable for mounting a long electronic card or a short electronic card within a housing. The fixing structure includes a pressing plate, a locking slice, and a locking member. Two ends of the pressing plate have two buckling portions. The locking slice connects an end of the pressing plate and has a locking hole. Besides, the locking slice leans against the housing. The locking member passes through the locking hole and is fixed into a first fixing hole or a second fixing hole. When the locking hole corresponds to the first fixing hole, the two buckling portions are fixed onto a free end of the long electronic card. When the locking hole is corresponding to the second fixing hole, the two buckling portions are fixed onto a free end of the short electronic card.
