  • Patent number: 10114502
Abstract: A touch panel includes a first touch area and a second touch area. The first touch area includes a plurality of first sensing electrodes electrically insulated from each other. Every two adjacent first sensing electrodes space apart from each other by a first distance. The second touch area includes a plurality of second sensing electrodes electrically insulated from each other. Every two adjacent second sensing electrodes space apart from each other by a second distance. The second distance is less than the first distance. The first sensing electrodes and at least one second sensing electrode detects for touch operation at different time periods.

  • Publication number: 20050007026
Abstract: A method and apparatus aims at generating uniform images of an active matrix OLED display device which consists of a plurality of pixel devices. Each of the pixel devices includes a driver unit to drive an OLED to display. The cathode of the OLED connects to a positive power supply which provides a voltage to increase the electric potential of the OLED and reduce the voltage difference between the source electrode and the drain electrode (Vsd) of the driver unit during operation and keep the voltage difference between the source electrode and the gate electrode (Vsg) unchanged so that output current fluctuations of the driver unit decreases while the driver unit is ON when the threshold voltages are different due to characteristic variations of the driver unit.

  • Patent number: 6777886
Abstract: A digital driving method and apparatus for active matrix organic light emitting diode mainly includes a plurality of pixel structures. Program display separated driving scheme is achieved by controlling the electric potential of the supply line. During the image data program period, the electric potential of the supply line is held at zero potential (GND) to disable the OLED from lighting. When to display the image data, the supply line is connected to a positive electric potential to allow the OLED to light.

  • Publication number: 20040075628
Abstract: A double-side display device mainly employs the advantage of the transparent cathode that enables an OLED display device to illuminate on two sides concurrently or adopts a novel design for a conventional single side display OLED such that only one driving module is needed to output signals to display the same picture on the positive (anode) side and the negative (cathode) side concurrently. While the displayed pictures and characters are inverse in terms of the left and the right directions, they may be controlled and rectified through software. Thus on the same OLED display panel, two large display zones may be designed and setup to display on the positive (anode) side and the negative (cathode) side.
