  • Patent number: 8261052
Abstract: A method for storing boot time is performed by a computer product having a programmable read-only memory with a basic/input output system resident therein. The method includes the steps of: (A) while the computer product is in a process of booting, determining whether a command is received; and (B) storing system time information of the computer product as boot time information in the programmable read-only memory of the computer product when it is determined in step (A) that no command is received. This invention takes advantage of the tendency of consumers to not boot the computer product in the event of malfunction. When the malfunctioning computer product is sent to a service center, the repairperson can determine whether the computer product broke down within a warranty period based on latest boot time information stored therein, rather than based on the claims of the consumer.

  • Publication number: 20080020862
Abstract: A golf club head comprising a striking plate, a shell together with the striking plate to form a main body, and a power zone disposed on the shell is provided. The power zone satisfies equations that (S/W)=4˜40 and ((d1+d2)/d1)=1.6˜6, wherein S is a distance from a center of the striking plate to an edge of the power zone, W is a width of the power zone, d1 is a thickness of the shell, and d2 is a thickness of the power zone. By forming the power zone on the main body, the coefficient of reaction of the golf club head can be enhanced. Moreover, the contact time between the golf ball and the striking plate as using the golf club head to hit the ball can be prolonged. Therefore, the effect of ball controlling and hitting is improved.
