  • Patent number: 7731671
Abstract: A massaging device particularly for a chair is provided. Owing to the provision of the rotative arms, the relative distance between the upper and lower massaging element pairs in the massaging device can be adjusted, and thus a massaging action imitating a human-made massaging action can be generated by the massaging device. Further, a relative protruding extent between the upper and lower massaging element pairs may be selected, and thus the foul-wheel or dual-wheel based pressing, rubbing and tapping actions can be provided when these massaging elements are operated with cooperation of a displacement mechanism and a control device. In addition, the provided massaging force can be adjusted to achieve a good massaging effect on the acupuncture points and strained muscles of the user.

  • Patent number: 6169262
Abstract: An apparatus and method is provided for use on an electric discharging machine to enhance the working efficiency of the electric discharging machine. The apparatus and method are directed to the control of the ignition delay time of the ignition voltage used to ignite the electric discharges applied to the workpiece for machining the workpiece. The apparatus and method are directed to the objective of making the duty factor as close to unity as possible. The apparatus and method are characterized in that the average discharge voltage is computed by the CNC (computer numerical control) unit instead of an analog voltage averaging circuit as in the prior art. The average discharge voltage is then used for the determination of the average ignition delay time to accordingly adjust the gain of the servo control loop of the discharging. The electric discharging machine then detects the ignition delay time to accordingly adjust the magnitude of the ignition voltage and the length of the discharge off-time.

  • Patent number: 5305226
Abstract: A method for transferring working conditions parameters of computer numerical control discharge machining devices comprises the steps of inputting the machining, editing the programmable ladder, using the ladder to simulate hardware and establishing the I/O port for transferring the working conditions parameters. Transferring working conditions parameters is done by two kinds of signals, data signals and a strobe signal. The number of the output terminals for these two signals are determined by the number of the working conditions parameters and the variations thereof. The ladder is edited in the programmable logic controller of the computer numerical control system and the working conditions parameters are on-line transferred out from the I/O port by using the combination of the data signals and the strobe signal so as to be able to use the least number of output terminals to transfer the most number of parameters and to be fit for all kinds of power supply systems made by different manufacturers.
