    Abstract: A composite fiber is provided, which includes a polymer fiber, doped zinc oxide particles dispersed in the polymer fiber or combined with the polymer fiber, and a fluorescent dye combined with the polymer fiber. The light emission wavelength of the doped zinc oxide particles and the light absorption wavelength of the fluorescent dye overlap. The above composite fiber can be manufactured as a yarn and woven into a textile.
