  • Patent number: 7370812
Abstract: A control device of a vehicle radiator system mainly has a temperature comparator, a temperature sensor, a keyboard and a display. The temperature sensor is positioned near an engine of the vehicle and outputs a detecting signal to the temperature comparator. Since the temperature comparator has a preset temperature value, the temperature comparator compares the preset temperature value with a current temperature value in the detecting signal to determine whether a start signal is output to a water gate driver device and a fan driver to open the water gate and start the fan drive. Since the vehicle driver sets the current temperature value through the keyboard and the preset temperature value is lower than an original fixed over-heat temperature value in the radiator system, the radiator system can be started appropriately to ensure the engine works at a safe temperature condition to prevent damage to its components.

  • Patent number: 7163193
Abstract: A water flow-controlling device has a tube, a shaft, a block, a washer and a reciprocating assembly. The tube has a front opening, a rear opening, a side opening and a rear bracket. The openings communicate with one another. The rear bracket is mounted in the tube near the rear opening. The shaft is mounted in and is aligning with the tube and is mounted movably in the rear bracket. The block and the washer are mounted on the shaft. The block selectively obstructs the communication between the front and side openings. The reciprocating assembly connects to the shaft to move the shaft to align with the tube. The reciprocating assembly moves the shaft to extend out of the tube or the inner pressure pushes the block to prevent the block from obstructing the communication between the front and side openings.

  • Patent number: 7113462
Abstract: A method of adjusting the write speed of a CD drive includes writing data from a CD drive to a disk at a first speed during a first preset time. If, at the end of the first preset time, the data error rate at the first speed is larger than the error allowance upper limit for the first preset time, then writing of the data will be completed at the first speed. However, if at the end of the first preset time, the data error rate at the first speed is smaller than the error allowance upper limit for the first preset time, then the writing speed will be adjusted to a second higher speed. The same process can be repeated for the second higher speed.

  • Publication number: 20060018218
Abstract: A method and apparatus for increasing the ability of decoding a land pre-pit are disclosed. The steps of the method include providing a host for executing an interface seek command. A seeking servo action is generated by the interface seek command. A first pre-pit slicing level is regulated to make the seeking servo action decode an absolute position. A tracking servo action starts from the absolute position. A second pre-pit slicing level is regulated to make the tracking servo action decode a target position.

  • Publication number: 20050076621
Abstract: An air filter includes a filter assembly and a base frame assembly. The filter assembly connects to the base frame assembly and filters particles from air prior to the air entering an internal combustion engine. The base frame assembly includes a base ring, a connecting bracket and an inner frame. The base ring has a ring configuration with a central through hole. The connecting bracket is mounted and held in the central through hole and has a clean air outlet, such as a through hole. The inner frame is mounted on the base ring over the through hole of the connecting bracket to spin clean air with powerful spinning currents to mix the clean air coming out of the clean air outlet with atomized fuel sprayed into the carburetor. Therefore, the well mixed air-fuel mixture will increase the gasoline engine performance.

  • Patent number: 6805092
Abstract: An intake device for an intake manifold of a internal combustion engine includes a seat, multiple ribs extending out from the seat and adapted to connect to an inner periphery of the intake manifold. Multiple blades each are arranged between two adjacent ribs. Each blade has a first side securely connected to the adjacent rib and a second side opposite to the first side and is movable relative to the first side. When the internal combustion engine operates, suction force generated inside the intake manifold is able to draw downward the second sides of the blades such that air drawn into the intake manifold flows helically and a gap defined between the second side and the adjacent second side of the blade is adjustable.

  • Publication number: 20030188095
Abstract: A method for dynamically determining optimal write speed of optical disk is proposed. The target beta value and the power limit of laser are determined firstly. The optimum power control process is taken and the optimal power is compared with the power limit. If the optimal power is larger than the power limit, the write speed is reduced and optimum power control process is taken until the optimal write speed is found.

  • Patent number: 6510117
Abstract: An improved writing strategy for constant angular velocity writing of CD-RW (compact disk-rewritable media) uses similar strategy as the constant linear velocity writing mode. The writing strategy includes the steps of dividing the compact disk into annular regions, setting a laser duty ratio for one of the regions, setting a laser write pulse duration to establish the laser duty ratio, and setting the laser duty ratios of the remaining annular regions using the same laser write pulse duration in each region. If the writing strategy results in unacceptable performance, as by laser write jitter being out of tolerance, the laser write pulse duration may be slightly modified in selected areas to acquire the desired performance level.

  • Publication number: 20020104299
Abstract: An air filter screen has a corrugated composite screen securely enclosed in a sectional frame. The sectional frame has two first beams respectively attached on first and third side-edges of the composite screen, two second beams respectively attached on second and fourth side-edges of the composite screen, and four right-angle connectors respectively combine the first beams together with the second beams, whereby the composite screen is enclosed in the combined sectional frame. When the composite screen needs to be replaced, the sectional frame is able to be separated, the old composite screen is detached from the opened sectional frame, and then after fitting a new composite screen with the sectional frame, the sectional frame is combined together again, so as to reduce cost of the air filter screen and help environmental protection.
