  • Publication number: 20190218606
Abstract: A method to generate DMI (Digital Molecular Identifier) for sequencing read includes: obtaining a pool of signer nucleotides; mixing the signer nucleotides with target nucleotides; performing a reaction of adding the signer nucleotides to the target nucleotides to form signer-target nucleotides complexes; amplifying the signer-target nucleic acid complexes, resulting in a set of amplified signer-target nucleotides complexes; sequencing the amplified signer-target nucleotides complexes; and combining the information of the signer nucleotides, the target nucleotides, and the signer-target nucleotides complexes. A sequencing library preparation kit allowing computing DMI (Digital Molecular Identifier) includes a pool of nucleotides with known sequence serve as signer nucleotides; and reagents that allow the signer nucleotides to be randomly added to target nucleotides, thereby generating a molecular signature.

  • Publication number: 20170183648
Abstract: A method of preparing a biomarker functional validation array includes selecting one or more lists of candidate agents, predicting functions of the one or more lists of candidate agents and combining the predicted functions to yield a final list of functions to be validated, and generating a biomarker functional validation array including agents targeting the final list of functions.

  • Publication number: 20170108488
Abstract: A method of identifying drug-drug, gene-drug or gene-gene interaction includes providing a plurality of arrays, each array including a plurality of ready-to-use plate wells, and each well including a bioactive material to target one or more cell component; adding a control and a candidate agent into the wells to form a control-material mix and an agent-material mix, respectively; when the control and the candidate agent are not cells, culturing a predetermined number of cells according to the number of the arrays and suspending and plating the cells into the arrays, when the control and the candidate agent are cells, no additional cells are needed; incubating the arrays in a cell culture incubator; measuring a predetermined signal; and collecting and analyzing data, thereby identifying the drug-drug, gene-drug, or gene-gene interaction.

  • Publication number: 20160300166
Abstract: A method of assisting the design and store of a research project includes the following steps: defining a sequence of predetermined protocol steps to be used by a researcher; in a first step, generating predetermined first prompts to guide the researcher to enter a protocol data corresponding to the first prompts; storing the entered protocol data in a first database having a structure which is at least partially predetermined; in a second step, generating second prompts to guide the researcher to enter a project data corresponding to the second prompts, and determining requirements for the retrieval of data from the first database; automatically retrieving selected protocol data from the first database, at least partially according to requirements of the second step; storing the selected protocol data and the project data in a second database for use in at least one further step of the method; and generating a project report including at least a portion of the selected protocol data and the project data.
