Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an article sorting apparatus and an article sorting system, wherein the article sorting apparatus includes: a first receiving means and a second receiving means which are both configured to receive an article, wherein the second receiving means is arranged below the first receiving means along a vertical direction; a transfer means arranged upstream of the second receiving means for transferring a received article to the second receiving means; and a sorting member for sorting the article to the first receiving means or the transfer means. The article sorting system includes an article sorting apparatus. The first receiving means and the second receiving means are arranged longitudinally along a vertical direction, which reduces the occupied space of the article sorting apparatus and allows for more space for article storage.

Abstract: Disclosed in the present disclosure are a method and apparatus for updating a target detection model. A specific implementation of the method comprises: constructing a three-dimensional model of a target article according to image data of the target article at a plurality of angles; generating, according to the three-dimensional model, a synthetic image comprising a target article object, which represents the target article; by taking the synthetic image as a sample image and taking the target article object as a label, obtaining training samples to generate a training sample set; and training a target detection model by means of the training sample set, so as to obtain an updated target detection model.

Abstract: Provided in the embodiments of the present application are a target object detection method and apparatus, and an electronic device and a computer storage medium. The method comprises: when it is determined that a robot arm picks up a target object from any turnover box and the height of the target object is greater than the height of the turnover box, performing target tracking on the target object to obtain real-time position information of the target object; and when it is determined, according to the real-time position information of the target object, that the target object falls from the robot arm, determining an area in which the target object is located according to position information of the target object at the current moment and area position information, wherein the area position information comprises areas in which various types of turnover boxes are located.
