The method includes: obtaining, by a first LMF, positioning reference unit (PRU) information; and performing, by the first LMF, first processing according to the PRU information, wherein the first processing comprises at least one of the following: storing the PRU information; transmitting the PRU information to a first network function; determining location information of a UE according to the PRU information.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an information transmission method, an information transmission apparatus, and a device, so as to solve the problem in the related art where there is a delay when obtaining a position of a UE. The method is applied to a positioning function entity with an interface between the positioning function entity and an RAN device. The method includes: transmitting, by the positioning function entity, a first request message to the RAN device through the interface, where the first request message is used to request position-related information; and, receiving, by the positioning function entity, a first response message in response to the first request message from the RAN device.

The method for cell reselection includes: obtaining, by a user equipment, slice group information, where the slice group information is used to indicate a mapping relationship between slices and slice groups; and performing, by the user equipment, cell reselection in accordance with the slice group information; the slice group information includes at least one of: information of a slice group supported by a serving TA, information of a slice group supported by at least two TAs in an RA, information of a slice group supported by at least one neighboring TA of an RA, information of a serving cell slice group supported by a neighboring cell, or information of a slice group supported by a neighboring cell.

Abstract: A positioning method, a user equipment and a network device provided by the present disclosure realize positioning of the user equipment by combining proximity based services, where the network device receives a location service request for a target UE; if it is determined that the target UE supports a proximity assisted positioning function and the network device determines to trigger an assisted positioning process for the target UE, the network device obtains self-positioning information of the target UE and assisted positioning information, and performs positioning processing on the target UE according to the self-positioning information of the target UE and the assisted positioning information to obtain a positioning result, where the assisted positioning information is information obtained by a proximal UE performing assisted positioning measurement on the target UE.

Abstract: The present application relates to the technical field of wireless communications, and discloses a terminal location capability reporting method and device. The method comprises: an access and mobility management function (AMF) entity obtains and stores a terminal location capability of a terminal, and after a location service for a target terminal arrives, if the terminal location capability of the target terminal is stored in the AMF entity, the AMF entity transmits the terminal location capability of the target terminal to a location management function (LMF) entity, so that the LMF sets a location method for the target terminal according to the terminal location capability. In the process above, when the LMF entity needs to obtain the terminal location capability of the target terminal, the terminal location capability of the target terminal can be directly obtained from the AMF entity, and there is no need to interact with the terminal to obtain the terminal location capability.

Thereby, a part of the traffic originally to be transmitted via the base station can be offloaded to a WLAN access network, thus improving radio utilization rate of a 3GPP access network.
