    Abstract: A rechargeable battery according to one or more exemplary embodiments includes: a pair of electrode assemblies, each including a first electrode including a coated region, a tab, and a connecting tab, a second electrode including a coated region, a tab, and a connecting tab, and a separator between the first electrode and the second electrode, the first electrode, the separator, and the second electrode being wound; a case accommodating the pair of electrode assemblies; a cap plate at an opening of the case and defining terminal openings; and first and second electrode terminals respectively connected to the tabs of the first and second electrodes and respectively passing through the terminal openings. The pair of electrode assemblies are electrically connected to each other via the connecting tabs.
