    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a modified stem cell comprising a stem cell and at least one controlled-release vehicle, wherein the at least one controlled-release vehicle includes at least one anti-neoplastic agent and at least one targeting moiety, and wherein the modified stem cell is characterized by an ability to target one or more glioma cells. The disclosure also provides pharmaceutical compositions and methods of treating a glioma by administering a therapeutically effective amount of the modified stem cells.
