Patent number: 11972338Abstract: This application describes systems and methods for generating machine learning models (MLMs). An exemplary method includes obtaining a sample and user input data characterizing a product or service. A subset of the data is selected from the sample based on sampling the sample according to the user input data. An MLM is trained by applying the data subset as training input to the MLM, thereby providing a trained MLM to emulate a customer selection process unique to the product or service. A user interface (UI) configured to receive other user input data and cause the trained MLM to execute on the other user input data, thereby testing the trained MLM, is presented. A summary of results from the execution of the trained MLM is generated and presented in the UI. The summary of results indicates a contribution to the trained MLM of each of a plurality of features.Type: GrantFiled: May 2, 2023Date of Patent: April 30, 2024Assignee: ZestFinance, Inc.Inventors: David Sheehan, Siavash Yasini, Bingjia Wang, Yunyan Zhang, Qiumeng Yu, Ruochen Zha, Adam Kleinman, Sean Javad Kamkar, Lingzhi Du, Saar Yalov, Jerome Louis Budzik

Patent number: 9094825Abstract: An approach for providing a service over a communication session based on an authentication from a voice session is described. A voice session enhancement platform may determine that a voice session is established among a plurality of devices. The voice session enhancement platform may further retrieve one or more authentication parameters associated with the voice session for the plurality of devices. The voice session enhancement platform may also initiate a service among the plurality of devices, wherein the service is separate from the voice session. Additionally, the voice session enhancement platform may authenticate the plurality of devices for the service based on the one or more authentication parameters.Type: GrantFiled: October 18, 2013Date of Patent: July 28, 2015Assignee: Cellco PartnershipInventors: Lin Song, Yunyan Wang, Trevor Elkins, Min Xu, William Andrew Fish, Rangashyam Vijayakrishnan

Patent number: 8819806Abstract: An application portal selectively provides a user selective access to data. A data access layer is included in the portal and includes a map associating the user with a permission and further associating a combination of the user and the permission with a data entity, whereby it may be determined whether the user is permitted to access data identified with the data entity. A data stage included in the portal selectively undergoes a synchronization with a remote data store, the synchronization providing data access information that is used to update the map.Type: GrantFiled: October 20, 2006Date of Patent: August 26, 2014Assignee: Verizon Patent and Licensing Inc.Inventors: Chi-Hwei Julie Lin, Tsehsin Jason Liu, Wei Miao, Yunyan Wang

Patent number: 8156224Abstract: An integration portal provides a user with access to application entities of a plurality of remote applications. An authorization layer included in the integration portal includes a permission map indicating an association between the user and at least one of the application entities of the plurality of remote applications that the user is permitted to access. The authorization layer in the integration portal is synchronized with an authorization layer included in an application portal that provides the user with access to a subset of the remote applications, whereby the permission map is updated with information about at least one of the application entities that the user is permitted to access through the integration portal. Corresponding systems and methods are also disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: November 30, 2010Date of Patent: April 10, 2012Assignee: Verizon Business Financial Management CorporationInventors: Marcial Montes De Oca, Chi-Hwei Julie Lin, Manuel Ledesma, Yunyan Wang, Fang Xie, Tsehsin Jason Liu
