  • Publication number: 20240374406
Abstract: An implant delivery handle, a delivery system and a method of operation thereof are disclosed. The implant delivery handle is able to switch an inner catheter (1) between unlocked and locked configurations through pivoting a locking knob (43) about an axis of the inner catheter (1) to cause a locking part (42) to exert or withdraw a radial pressure on the inner catheter (1). The implant delivery handle has a simplified structure and can be operated more easily. Moreover, the locking knob (43) for the inner catheter (1) and the control handwheel (33) for the flexible catheter (2) employ distinguishable designs, which effectively prevent a surgeon from being confused with the two actions.

  • Publication number: 20240303553
Abstract: This application describes systems and methods for generating machine learning models (MLMs). An exemplary method includes obtaining a sample and user input data characterizing a product or service. A subset of the data is selected from the sample based on sampling the sample according to the user input data. An MLM is trained by applying the data subset as training input to the MLM, thereby providing a trained MLM to emulate a customer selection process unique to the product or service. A user interface (UI) configured to receive other user input data and cause the trained MLM to execute on the other user input data, thereby testing the trained MLM, is presented. A summary of results from the execution of the trained MLM is generated and presented in the UI. The summary of results indicates a contribution to the trained MLM of each of a plurality of features.

  • Patent number: 12088097
Abstract: An apparatus and method for parameter comprehensive monitoring and troubleshooting of power transformation and distribution are disclosed. The apparatus includes a data acquisition unit, an on-site CPU, a main CPU, an operation and maintenance control center, a UPS and an energy storage breaking mechanism. Each on-site CPU compares the relevant state values of equipment line collected by a data acquisition unit with a threshold set by fiber Bragg grating sensor nodes and sums up to a main CPU. The main CPU stores and display the relevant state values through a display screen. The node represents each distribution point. A link represents a data transmission path. An attached table displays all state parameters. A working state of the distribution equipment is determined according to a color of the node and the link.

  • Publication number: 20240293244
Abstract: The present invention provides an implant delivery handle, an implant system, a delivery system and a method of operation thereof. The implant delivery handle includes two conveyance sub-systems both oriented along an axial direction of a catheter assembly, in which a distal one is coupled to a proximal portion of an outer tube in the catheter assembly, and a proximal one is coupled to a proximal portion of an inner tube in the catheter assembly. Each of the conveyance sub-systems comprises a synchronous conveying device and a ratchet device fixed to the synchronous conveying device. The ratchet device is configured to enable safe self-locking, transmission and guidance of the outer or inner tube through the synchronous conveying device. In this way, both the inner and outer tubes can be locked in one direction, avoiding opposite movement of the inner or outer tube caused by incorrect operation of an operator.

  • Publication number: 20210224631
Abstract: The invention provides an ultrasonic beam forming method based on a neural network model. The method comprises: receiving, by the processing device, the ultrasonic echo radio frequency signal, and performing a preliminary processing of the ultrasonic echo radio frequency signal, so that the ultrasonic echo radio frequency signal is applicable to the neural network model; inputting the ultrasonic echo radio frequency signal into the neural network model; performing a convolution processing on the ultrasonic echo radio frequency signal for multiple times, and performing pooling processing after each convolution processing; flattening the ultrasonic echo radio frequency signal after the last pooling process is completed, so as to convert the ultrasonic echo radio frequency signal from three-dimensional data into one-dimensional data; classifying the one-dimensional data for multiple times; and performing grayscale mapping on the classified ultrasonic echo radio frequency signal to form an ultrasonic beam.

  • Publication number: 20180369136
Abstract: Various implementations include a transdermal drug delivery system for treating basal cell carcinoma. The system includes a pharmacologic agent and an array of microneedles for creating pores in the skin surface and the stratum corneum layer of the epidermis, thereby enabling transdermal delivery of the pharmacologic agent. The pharmacologic agent includes itraconazole and/or vitamin D3. Various implementations also include a method of treating basal cell carcinoma in a subject. The method includes: (1) applying an array of microneedles to a skin site having basal cell carcinoma, such that the microneedles penetrate the surface of the skin and the stratum corneum layer of the skin; and (2) administering a pharmaceutical composition to the subject intradermally through openings in the skin formed by the microneedles, wherein the pharmaceutical composition comprises a therapeutically effective amount of a pharmacologic chosen from itraconazole, vitamin D3, or a combination thereof.

  • Publication number: 20150311072
Abstract: The present invention provides a reproducible preliminary in-situ oxide removal step for patterned self-assisted III-V semiconductor nanowire growth. Here “in-situ” means located within the same treatment environment or apparatus as the nanowire growth process, e.g. with a molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) apparatus or the like. Providing an in-situ process may prevent the formation of a thin oxide layer during transfer of the substrate into the nanowire growth apparatus.

  • Patent number: 7259767
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and system for segmenting texture of multi-dimensional data indicative of a characteristic of an object. Received multi-dimensional data are transformed into second multi-dimensional data within a Stockwell domain based upon a polar S-transform of the multi-dimensional data. Principal component analysis is then applied to the second multi-dimensional data for generating texture data characterizing texture around each data point of the multi-dimensional data. Using a classification process the data points of the multi-dimensional data are partitioned into clusters based on the texture data. Finally, a texture map is produced based on the partitioned data points. The present invention provides image texture segmentation based on the polar S-transform having substantially reduced redundancy while keeping maximal data variation.
