  • Publication number: 20260228858
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices that perform object-aware guided exposure fusion for tone mapping high dynamic range (HDR) images to lower dynamic range images. In one aspect, a method is provided that includes receiving a first image frame and generating a plurality of second image frames, each corresponding to an exposure value that differs from the first image frame. The method further includes determining segmentation maps of objects within the first image frame and computing exposure scores for image regions defined by the segmentation maps in each second image frame, such as based on deviation of intensity levels from a reference intensity level. Weights are determined based on these scores, and an output image is generated by combining the second image frames using guided multi-scale image fusion. Fusion may incorporate pyramid decomposition techniques and guided filtering. Other aspects are provided.

  • Publication number: 20260220746
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices that enhance image processing by reintroducing adjusted residual signals to improve image quality, particularly in low-light conditions. In one aspect, a method is provided that includes receiving a plurality of image frames and determining a first image and a map based on at least a subset of these frames. The method involves reducing noise in the first image to produce a second image and calculating a residual signal based on the first and second images. The residual signal may then be adjusted based on the map and combined with the second image to produce an output image. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described. For example, a scaling factor may be determined and the adjusted residual signal may be scaled by this factor.

  • Publication number: 20250086817
Abstract: A system, such as for three-dimensional (3D) shape reconstruction, includes a polarization camera, a first circularly polarized light source disposed on a first side of the polarization camera, and a second circularly polarized light source disposed on a second side of the polarization camera. The polarization camera is configured to capture first and second images of an object with the respective first and second circularly polarized light sources illuminated. A method and computer readable medium, such as for 3D shape reconstruction, includes obtaining first and second images of an object from a polarization camera corresponding to images of the object captured with respective first and second circularly polarized light sources illuminated, performing polarimetric image decomposition on each of the first and second images, and determining a 3D surface mesh of the object based on the unpolarized and linearly polarized components of the first and second images.

  • Patent number: 10198050
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a data transferring method based on a protection and control system for an intelligent substation. Merging unit and intelligent terminal integrated devices for all bays in an intelligent substation are respectively accessed to corresponding transport ports of an FPGA access chip of an intelligent power server. The method includes: in a reception period, messages are read from a reception buffer clip by a real-time business central processor, subjected to a process and then written into the reception buffer clip; in a transmission period, the real-time business central processor issues indication information to the FPGA access chip, causing the chip to generate messages according to the indication information and write the messages into a transmission buffer.
