The winding pin is configured to wind the electrode sheet and separator into a battery cell. The lamination assembly is disposed upstream of the winding pin, and configured to connect the free end of the electrode sheet to the separator. The battery cell manufacturing device and method provided in the embodiments of the present application solve the problem that the free end of the electrode sheet is prone to shift relative to the separator during the battery cell production process, thus ensuring the safety of the battery cell produced.
