Patent number: 11522847Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to methods, devices and systems that allow for a client device, as part of a remote access or cloud-based network environment, to map external user identities to desktops and applications. Local user accounts can be dynamically generated on a virtual delivery agent. A mapping of the local user account to an external identity can be secured using signed tokens and maintained by a broker machine that allocates resources for the deployment of particular applications to the client device from the virtual delivery agent. This allows for the removal of any dependency on an Active Directory for maintaining user identities or federated sign-on services, greatly simplifying the management of user identities within the system and allowing for greater compatibility across client devices.Type: GrantFiled: March 12, 2021Date of Patent: December 6, 2022Assignee: Citrix Systems, Inc.Inventors: Leo C. Singleton, IV, Mukund Ingale, Yuri Kolesnikov

Publication number: 20190394255Abstract: Methods, systems, computer-readable media, and apparatuses may provide, via a remote computing device, tabbed web browsing to a client computing device. A remote computing device may comprise a plurality of sessions. A session may include an instance of a web browser executable. The client computing device may display output corresponding to the web browser executable in a display application. The remote computing device may receive, from the client computing device and via an application different than the display application, an indication of a new web page. The remote computing device may cause the web browser to display the new web page in a new tab in the web browser executable.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 25, 2018Publication date: December 26, 2019Inventor: Yuri Kolesnikov

Patent number: 8148976Abstract: The invention relates to a method and arrangement for the contactless determination of conductivity-influencing properties and their spatial distribution over the entire cross section of an electrically conductive substance moving in a primary magnetic field (B). The substance may be a liquid or a solid. A simultaneous measurement of a number of mechanical state parameters of the magnetic system is performed (three-dimensional components of the force and the torque), said parameters being variable by the effect of a secondary field on the magnetic system, the secondary field being produced on the basis of eddy currents induced in the substance by the primary field (B). To determine the spatial distribution of the property that is sought, the primary field is changed in intensity or form a number of times and a measurement of the state parameters is carried out for each change.Type: GrantFiled: September 21, 2006Date of Patent: April 3, 2012Assignee: Technische Universitat IlmenauInventors: André Thess, Yuri Kolesnikov, Christian Karcher

Patent number: 7820688Abstract: Many chemical and pharmaceutical compositions are known to produce antinociceptive effects that are helpful in relieving pain and inflammation. Both opioids and local anesthetics serve an important function in providing peripheral pain relief. Topical administration of pain-relieving drugs to the periphery offers important advantages over systemic or local, non-topical administration. The present invention provides topical pharmaceutical compositions, formulated with at least one local anesthetic and at least one opioid analgesic in a topical excipient. The present invention also provides methods for relieving pain in a subject through topical administration of the pharmaceutical composition in an amount and a duration sufficient to synergistically potentiate an antinociceptive response. Synergistic potentiation of analgesia through topical administration of a local anesthetic/opioid pharmaceutical composition provides a new and improved approach to peripheral pain management.Type: GrantFiled: April 13, 2004Date of Patent: October 26, 2010Assignee: Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer CenterInventors: Gavril Pasternak, Yuri Kolesnikov

Publication number: 20100143449Abstract: The present invention relates to pharmaceutical formulations comprising at least two compounds, one effecting opioid analgesia and one effecting cyclooxygenase 1 and 2 activity, in amounts sufficient to potentiate an antinociceptive response when both compounds are topically administered in a physiologically acceptable topical excipient. The pharmaceutical formulations of the present invention are used to prevent or relieve acute pain and chronic peripheral neuropathy and/or neuropathic inflammation in a patient in need of such treatment.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 29, 2008Publication date: June 10, 2010Inventor: Yuri Kolesnikov

Patent number: 7700122Abstract: A topical opioid paradigm was developed to determine analgesic peripheral effects of morphine. Topical morphine as well as peptides such as [D-Ala2,MePhe4,Gly(ol)5]enkephalin (DAMGO) produced a potent, dose-dependent analgesia using the radiant heat tailflick assay. The topical drugs potentiated systemic agents, similar to the previously established synergy between peripheral and central sites of action. Local tolerance was rapidly produced by repeated daily topical exposure to morphine. Topical morphine tolerance was effectively blocked by the N-Methyl-D-Aspartate (NMDA) receptors antagonist MK801 and ketamine given either systemically or topically. NMDA receptor antagonists reversed pre-existing morphine tolerance. The activity of topical NMDA antagonists to block local morphine tolerance suggests that peripheral NMDA receptors mediate topical morphine tolerance.Type: GrantFiled: July 15, 1999Date of Patent: April 20, 2010Assignee: Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer CenterInventors: Yuri Kolesnikov, Gavril W. Pasternak
