  • Patent number: 8167197
Abstract: A conversion system includes a terminal apparatus for paying with one of a plurality of different types of e-money, and an intermediate server which issues intermediate e-money to the terminal apparatus. The terminal apparatus has an algorithm storage unit which stores an algorithm to convert intermediate money into one of said plurality of different types of e-money, and an e-money conversion unit to convert the intermediate e-money, which is different from the plurality of different types of e-money, into one of the plurality of different types of e-money.

  • Patent number: 7565177
Abstract: When a controller receives an incoming call signal, the controller supplies melody information stored in a melody information storage to a sound source. The sound source starts to output a melody, represented by the melody information, from a speech speaker. When an input unit accepts a talk start command, the controller operates a superimposer. The superimposer superimposes a melody signal on a speech signal, and a speech speaker outputs a superimposed sound.

  • Patent number: 7512410
Abstract: A PTT communication system includes a plurality of terminals having respective PTT buttons, a management server for managing advertisements or contents, and a PTT communication server for controlling a token for PTT communications. When the PTT button of either one of the terminals is pressed, the PTT communication server assigns a token to the terminal with the pressed PTT button, and sends communication data from the terminal with the pressed PTT button to another terminal. When the PTT button of any one of the terminals is not pressed, the PTT communication server assigns a token to the management server which is equipped with no PTT button, and distributes advertisements or contents selected by the management server to which the token is assigned to the terminals.

  • Publication number: 20070023501
Abstract: A conversion terminal includes an algorithm storage unit, e-money acquisition unit, and e-money conversion unit. The algorithm storage unit stores an algorithm to convert a type of e-money. The e-money acquisition unit acquires one type of e-money. The e-money conversion unit converts the acquired e-money into another type of e-money in accordance with the algorithm stored in the algorithm storage unit. A conversion system, conversion server, conversion method, and recording medium are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20030110226
Abstract: In the setting step of an e-mail sending/receiving method, a processing start condition representing a condition under which a receiving e-mail communication apparatus starts received mail processing is set by a sending e-mail communication apparatus. In the sending step, the set processing start condition is added to e-mail, and the e-mail is sent from the sending e-mail communication apparatus to the receiving e-mail communication apparatus. In the receiving step, the e-mail sent from the sending e-mail communication apparatus is received by the receiving e-mail communication apparatus. In the monitoring step, the status of the receiving e-mail communication apparatus or the status of another specific terminal apparatus is monitored.
