Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method and apparatus that will allow customers to virtually try on articles of clothing by presenting a mirrored display that allows for the garment to be displayed on the reflection of the user, thereby providing a means to see the article as it would appear if they were to wear it, eliminate the mess that may arise in the store's dressing rooms, help to prevent shoplifting, and increase sales of merchandise. Furthermore, the method accurately specifies the fitting of garments, and matches well-fitting garments with individual consumers, wherein the method provides means to keep dressing rooms clean, allow the user to see the merchandise as how it would look on them, prevent theft, and increase the sale of merchandise.
