  • Patent number: 8485364
Abstract: The invention is intended for sizing separation of difficult-to-screen powder materials and slurries. A sieve assembly includes a rigid frame, attached inside the separator housing, and upper and bottom sieves, stretched on the frame. The interface apparatuses are connected to the upper sieve, while actuator means—to the bottom sieve. The forced frequency of the vibrator is close to one of the natural frequencies of the bottom sieve. When the vibrator is operated, the actuator means interact with interface apparatuses, thus generating repeated collisions therebetween and mechanical impulses, which provide multifrequency excitation of the interface apparatuses and upper sieve. This ensures continuous self-cleaning of the upper sieve, intense loosening of the material bed and disintegration of the particle agglomerates. Separation capacity and products' quality substantially rises. In other embodiments presented sieve assembly includes buffer elements and inertial apparatuses, connected to the upper sieve.

  • Patent number: 6845868
Abstract: A vibratory separator for sorting solids including a housing (12) with an inlet (22) for feeding material, a first oulet (24) for discharging undersized particles, and a second oulet (26) for discharging oversized particles; and one or more screens (28) supported in the housing between the inlet and the first outlet wherein undersized particles pass through the screen and exit through the first oulet and oversized particles do not pass through the screen and exit through the second outlet; including the steps of introducing the solids into the housing via the inlet, imparting to the housing a single frequency vibration (20); and converting the single frequency vibration into a sequence of mechanical pulses applied to an interface apparatus by a multifrequency vibratory systems (48), thereby to generate a multifrequency vibration to one or more screens to cause de-agglomeration of the masses to prevent blockage of the one or more screens by particles.

  • Patent number: 6250792
Abstract: An integrated vibratory adapter device for providing multi-frequency oscillation of a vibratable working unit, includes a working member associated with the working unit so as to be in force transmissive relation therewith; centrifugal vibratory apparatus for generating a single frequency sinusoidal vibration; rigid impact apparatus arranged to receive a single frequency sinusoidal vibration from the vibratory apparatus; resilient mounting apparatus for mounting the rigid impact apparatus in motion transmitting association with the working member and which is operative, when the vibratory apparatus is operated, so as to vibrate the rigid impact apparatus such that it transmits vibration forces to the working member; and one or more elastic buffers spaced between the rigid impact apparatus and the working member such that, when the vibratory apparatus is operated, the rigid impact apparatus elastically strikes the working member through the one or more elastic buffers such that the rigid impact apparatus trans
