  • Publication number: 20240000065
Abstract: The invention has medical application. More particularly, in various ernbodiments, the invention applies specifically to Cardiac surgery, Transplantology and Extracorporeal perfusion medicine. The invention aims to create a system for normothermic preservation and long-term transportation of a donor heart with additional properties universality, accessibility. The described system includes a special integrated box reservoir for donor heart placement, oxygenator, centrifugal pump and lines connecting all components. Normothermic, oxygenated blood with the necessary solutions is pumped under controlled pressure into the aorta for myocardium blood supply through the coronary arteries. Venous blood from the heart cavities enters the integrated box reservoir, and pressurized into the oxygenator by centrifugal pump. Then the oxygenated perthsate is pumped into the aorta, closing the circulatory loop of the system, The capacity of the device is monitored and controlled by an integrated electronic system.

  • Patent number: 11723773
Abstract: A method is presented for tricuspid valve commissural annuloplasty for secondary tricuspid insufficiency. The method comprises suturing through a valve annulus, and bringing the valve annulus to its normal size while eliminating its regurgitation. The suturing comprises applying individual sutures on pledgets through the tricuspid valve annulus from a right ventricle side along anteroposterior and posteroseptal commissures on both sides of each of said commissures, spaced-apart from them; taking out needles of said sutures from a right atrium side and tying knots along the commissures between them.

  • Patent number: 10751456
Abstract: The invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiac surgery. The object of the invention is to raise the effectiveness of implantation of the HeartMate III left ventricular assist device by minimizing postoperative complications and improving the long-term results of device operation. The HeartMate III left ventricular assist device is implanted in compliance with the phased nature of the procedure. The site of implantation of the outflow cannula is carefully selected. The proposed method of implantation of the HeartMate III left ventricular assist device makes it possible to minimize the surgical causes of device thrombosis and bleeding, to avoid kinking of the outflow graft, to reduce the percentage of development of infection complications of the cable exit region, and thus to improve the long-term results of device operation.
