In one aspect, a method includes presenting, by a user device, an answer box as a search result in a search result location of a search results page. The answer box can include first content of a first content type responsive to a query that submitted with a first resource request over a network. The user device determines that a user interaction with the answer box has occurred. In response to determining that the user interaction has occurred, the user device can present second content of the first content type in the answer box. The second content is selected from available content that has not been presented prior to the user interaction. The answer box include a visual element reflective of the content data currently presented.

The UI can include a voice-navigable UI. The voice-navigable UI can include a voice navigable menu that includes one or more menu items comprising an original menu item and an added command menu item. The original menu item can be associated with one or more original commands, and the added menu item can be associated with one or more added commands, including a first added command. The interface can also present a first visible menu that includes at least a portion of the voice navigable menu. Responsive to a first utterance comprising the first added command, the interface can invoke the first added command. In some embodiments, the interface can display a second visible menu, wherein the first added command can be displayed above other menu items.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein may help to provide a lock-screen for a computing device. An example method involves: (a) while a computing device is locked, displaying an interface that comprises a fixed arrangement of input regions, wherein an image from a set of images is displayed in each input region, and wherein each input region is associated with an image-name for the image that is displayed in the input region, (b) receiving audio data that comprises speech, (c) detecting a sequence of one or more of the image-names in the speech, (d) determining an input sequence based on the input regions that are associated with the detected sequence of image-names, (e) determining whether or not the input sequence matches a predetermined unlock sequence, and (f) if the input sequence matches the predetermined unlock sequence, then unlocking the computing device.
