  • Patent number: 8571233
Abstract: A coefficient calculation unit calculates a coefficient (p) according to input signals (x[n]). A balance setting unit decides, according to this coefficient (p), a coefficient used to control the level of a signal in a digital level correction unit and a coefficient used to adjust the characteristics of a signal in a characteristic correction unit, thus allowing the digital level correction unit and characteristic correction unit to execute adaptive processing.

  • Publication number: 20130106700
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an input control module determines, responding to release of a contact state of one of a plurality of first positions on a touch-screen display, which are put in contact with external objects, whether a contact time from when the external object is put in contact with the one of the plurality of first positions to when the contact state of the one of the plurality of first positions is released is shorter than a threshold time. The input control module executes an input process of inputting a key code associated with one of a plurality of first keys which corresponds to the one of the first positions, when the contact time is shorter than the threshold time.

  • Publication number: 20120250892
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a signal processor includes a band divider, a first correction module, a determiner, an adjuster, and a second correction module. The band divider calculates an amplitude indicating sound pressure from an acoustic signal for each frequency range. The first correction module corrects the amplitude to change the dynamic range of the amplitude to a target range. The determiner determines whether the maximum amplitude of amplitudes corrected by the first correction module is equal to or larger than a threshold. The adjuster adjusts first and second coefficients based on the first condition if the maximum amplitude is equal to or larger than the threshold. The second correction module adds a value obtained by multiplying the acoustic signal by the first coefficient to a value obtained by multiplying the correction amount of the amplitude by the second coefficient, and outputs a resulting value as an output signal.

  • Publication number: 20120250886
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a characteristic correcting device includes: a correction filter configured to correct sound quality characteristics of a plurality of bands in a frequency range of an input signal based on a frequency characteristic which is set in advance to generate an output signal; an input module configured to input a surrounding sound signal of sound around an output device outputting the output signal; and an adjusting module configured to reduce the number of the bands of which the sound quality characteristics are to be corrected of the bands in the frequency range of the input signal in accordance with an increase in amplitude of the surrounding sound signal which is input.
