Abstract: A footwear and a method of walking are disclosed. The footwear includes a thermoelectric generator for generating electrical power and an electrical device. The thermoelectric generator generates electrical power via a thermoelectric generator while the footwear is being worn based on a temperature difference across the thermoelectric generator when the footwear is being worn. The electrical power is used to operate the electrical device.

Abstract: A wearable device includes a first structure having a first band and a processor mounted on the first band, and a second structure having a second band configured to wrap around a knee and at least one sensor mounted on the second band and configured to measure vibration within the knee. The processor is programmed to make a determination whether the knee is within a range that indicates Osteoarthritis based on the vibration sensed by the at least one sensor, and to output the result to an external device.
