  • Publication number: 20200204657
Abstract: The packet processing system, according to an example embodiment, comprises a Network Interface Controller (NIC) to receive and transmit network packets; a memory unit for storing network packets; a processor for processing network packets stored in the memory unit; a cache unit to access all data to the processor from the memory unit; and an application process running on the processing unit. The NIC includes a packet processing means to process the network packets received by the NIC. The packet processing means includes a Contiguous Header Mapping/Map (CHM) header-data splitter to split said network packets into a header portion and a payload portion; a table or equivalent to store the contiguous header-data split configuration data; and a packet Direct Memory Access (DMA) unit to DMA copy said header portion and said payload portion into separate memory area/location and contiguously map said header portion of network packets in the memory unit.

  • Publication number: 20200076718
Abstract: A method of transmitting a data flow over a link aggregation group (LAG), including: comparing the bandwidth demand of the data flow with the capacity of a first link assigned to the flow in the LAG; identifying an underutilized second link in the LAG when the bandwidth demand of the flow is greater than the capacity of the link assigned to the flow resulting in excess packets; determining if the second link is available; determining the traffic type of the traffic flow; calculating a time delay and delaying excess packets of the traffic flow by the calculated time delay when the determined traffic type does not include a packet sequence number; and sending excess packets of the traffic flow on the second link.

  • Publication number: 20190372948
Abstract: A method of identifying a flow in a received data stream from a secure tunnel, including receiving a plurality of data packets including a flow identification and an encrypted data portion, separating a flow identification from the encrypted data portion, distributing the plurality of data packets to a plurality of processing cores, wherein all the packets associated with a flow identification are distributed to the a processing core.

  • Publication number: 20070060994
Abstract: A blood flow diverter device for treatment of intracranial aneurysms, including a porous tubular member having a central portion and two ends. The member is of sufficient flexibility and body compatibility to be placed in proximity within an intracranial aneurysm. The central portion of the tubular member has a sufficiently decreased porosity to block blood flow from entering through the aneurysm. This is done by one of three methods: (1) the central portion of the member can be compressed to decrease porosity and heat set to hold the compression; (2) the angle of the fibers can be altered if the tubular member is made from a braided fibers; or (3) a monomeric coating can be formed on the central portion in an amount sufficient to decrease the porosity of the central portion upon polymerization of the monomeric coating. In the third embodiment a polymerization initiator is provided for polymerizing the monomeric coating upon command to cause the decreased porosity to block the blood flow.
