  • Patent number: 8955295
Abstract: The stacking unit is provided with a stacking space, which accepts coins transported by the transport unit from above and stacks the coins. In the stacking space, stack support portions which support coins to be stacked are provided movably up and down. Coins to be stacked are supported in an inclined state by the stack support portions. At a height in which the stack of coins supported by the stack support portions are stacked, an inclination maintaining portion in which the higher side of the inclination of a coin comes into contact with is provided. The inclinations of coins higher than a space portion are forcibly maintained by the inclination maintaining portion, the space portion being formed on the higher side of the inclination of the coin at a height in the stack of the coins.

  • Publication number: 20110154786
Abstract: The present invention provides a coin wrapping machine which can reliably lean coins C accepted in a stacking unit 21 from a transport unit 20 and stack the coins C without disorder, and can neatly wrap the stacked coins C. The stacking unit 21 is provided with a stacking space 41 which accepts coins C transported by the transport unit 20 from above and stacks the coins. In the stacking space 41, stack support portions 47 which support coins C to be stacked are provided movably up and down. On the upper surfaces of the stack support portions 47, stack support surfaces 48 are provided, and coins C to be stacked in the stacking space 41 are supported in an inclined state by the stack support surfaces 48. The stack support portions 47 lower each time a coin C is stacked.

  • Patent number: 7470175
Abstract: A top end portion of an outer peripheral surface of a coin feeding roller protrudes in a stacking section as a rotating friction surface so as to correspond to an end portion of a coin passage. A plurality of coins are conveyed to the end portion of the coin passage in a row in a direction of a diameter of the coins by operation of a conveying mechanism. The rotating friction surface of the feeding roller rotates while contacting a lower surface of a conveyed coin, to cause the coin to get over the rotating friction surface from an upstream side to a downstream side of the friction surface with respect to a direction of rotation thereof. Thus, the roller displaces a trailing edge of a previously conveyed coin upwards so that a leading edge of a subsequently conveyed coin can enter between the previously conveyed coin and the friction surface. By repeating this operation, conveyed coins are sequentially stacked in a stacking section.

  • Publication number: 20050003750
Abstract: [Problem to be solved] The first purpose of this present invention is that when the coins are moved by the pushing piece of the rotating disk, the friction between the coin and the guiding surface reduces. The second purpose of this invention is that when the coins are made up from a soft material, the coins do not get damaged and/or worn. [Means of solved] A coin hopper comprises of; a bowl which stores coins, a rotating disk which is located at the bottom section of said bowl and has a pushing piece for pushing said coins, and a guiding surface which guides said coins which move together with said rotating disk characterized in that, said pushing piece has a pushing moving section and a pushing out section, said pushing moving section which is located on an extending straight line which extends towards the circumferential direction, said pushing out section which is located at the outer side of said pushing moving section and is located on the straight line which crosses in an obtuse angle to said line.

  • Publication number: 20020112455
Abstract: The top end portion of the outer peripheral surface of a coin feeding roller (4) protrudes in a stacking section (3) as a rotating friction surface (40) so as to correspond to the end portion of a coin passage (1). A plurality of coins (C) are conveyed to the end portion of the coin passage (1) in a row in a direction of diameter of the coins by means of a conveying mechanism (2). The rotating friction surface (40) of the feeding roller rotates while contacting the lower surface of the conveyed coin (C), to cause the coin to get over the rotating friction surface from an upstream side to a downstream side of the friction surface with respect to the direction of rotation thereof. Thus, the roller (4) displaces the trailing edge of the previously conveyed coin upwards so that the leading edge of a subsequently conveyed coin can enter between the previously conveyed coin and the friction surface. By repeating this operation, a plurality of conveyed coins are sequentially stacked in the stacking section.

  • Patent number: 5435777
Abstract: A coin packaging apparatus facilitates a change operation of the type of coins processed, can correspond to any type of coin, and is an apparatus which feeds coins one by one from a circular plate and conveys them along a coin passage and in which required processing, such as totaling and separation of the coins to be packaged, is performed. The coins are fed to a coin stacking portion where a required number of coins are stacked and packaged by a coin packaging portion. A coin passage width adjustment device steplessly adjusts the width of the coin passage, a coin passage height adjustment device steplessly adjusts the height of the coin passage, and a coin stacking portion inner diameter adjustment device steplessly adjusts the inner diameter of the coin stacking portion. A coin information input portion receives coin information, including at least the diameter and thickness of coins to be proposed. A coin information coin passage width information P.sub.
