  • Publication number: 20260093842
Abstract: A vehicle control system is configured to provide, in response to a request from application software, restriction information set for each usage pattern classified according to use or purpose of utilizing an HMI for a vehicle, the restriction information including an HMI available in the usage pattern and constraints imposed on the HMI in the usage pattern, to application software that is a source of the request, and to control the HMI in accordance with an HMI usage request from the application software requesting use of the HMI. The vehicle control system is configured to determine to which usage pattern a content of the HMI usage request corresponds, and, when HMI usage requests conflict, to arbitrate conflicting HMI usage requests according to a priority associated with each usage pattern.

  • Publication number: 20260062011
Abstract: A vehicle control system includes at least one vehicle control device and an operation control device, and is configured to: in response to a first command being input from an application, determine whether the first command can be accepted based on resource information that is related to a processing capacity of resource to be used by the first command; output, in response to determining that the first command can be accepted, a second command to an operation control program that is installed in the operation control device; in response to determining that the first command cannot be accepted, determine whether the first command can be accepted within a predetermined duration based on the resource information; and wait until the first command can be accepted and output the second command to the operation control program in response to determining that the first command can be accepted within the predetermined duration.

  • Publication number: 20260062012
Abstract: A vehicle control device includes an API unit, which has multiple function APIs. The multiple function APIs are interfaces to respectively implement multiple functions using vehicle equipment. Each function API receives a request from an application and provides corresponding function using the vehicle equipment. The vehicle control device predicts a state of resource of the vehicle for a specified time period, and generates, for each function API, reference information, which includes a time period during which the corresponding function API can be used based on the prediction result. The vehicle control device provides the reference information to the function API specified in the request from the application.

  • Publication number: 20250220429
Abstract: An access control device or an access control method receives an access request from an application programming interface (API) use application provided outside a vehicle, controls access to a vehicle API, and assigns, to the API use application, an access privilege to a vehicle API that provides a function of a start confirmation unit, assigns an access privilege to the vehicle API necessary for providing a target service to the API use application.

  • Publication number: 20250187554
Abstract: An onboard device mounted on a vehicle is configured to receive an operation request for the vehicle according to execution of application software and a first cancellation condition, which is a condition for canceling the operation request, from an application execution unit configured to execute the application software; store the operation request in a first queue; determine whether to cancel the operation request stored in the first queue according to the first cancellation condition and a second cancellation condition, which is a preset condition related to usage of the vehicle, for canceling the operation request; and delete the operation request from the first queue when it is determined that the operation request is to be canceled.

  • Publication number: 20250171036
Abstract: A vehicle control device mounted on a vehicle and configured to control the vehicle is configured to determine whether the first command is receivable when a first command from at least one application is input, output a second command based on the first command with respect to the first command determined to be receivable, determine whether there is the first command that is determined to be unreceivable for a predetermined period or more, and set an application that has output the first command as a target application in a case where the first command determined to be unreceivable for the predetermined period or more is present and the first command is not classified into a preset function related to safety of the vehicle, and inquire of a user whether to execute an operation of the target application.

  • Publication number: 20110012774
Abstract: The range finder includes a transmitting unit (71) which emits a transmitted wave (75) spread using a spread code at a constant chip rate, a receiving unit (72) which receives a reflected wave (76), a correlation unit (73) which calculates a correlation waveform indicating delay time and a correlation between the transmitted wave (75) and the reflected wave (76), and a distance calculation unit (74) which calculates, from a peak position in the waveform, a distance to the object. The correlation unit (73) calculates the correlation waveform obtained when changing the delay time for each range gate. The distance calculation unit (74) calculates the distance to the object by calculating, at a resolution finer than the range gate, a delay time corresponding to the peak in the correlation wave using a highest-correlation point and an adjacent higher-correlation point in the wave form.
