    Abstract: Provided are a wire conductor having high wire strength and high connection strength when the wire conductor is connected to a connector terminal even when the cross-sectional area of the conductor is smaller than 0.13 mm2, and an insulated wire provided with such a wire conductor. A wire conductor 1 has a cross-sectional area of less than 0.13 mm2, an electric resistance of not more than 660 m?/m, a tensile strength of at least 950 MPa, and a breaking elongation of at least 1.5%, and is to be used as a single wire.
