Publication number: 20250136075Abstract: A vehicle braking device with electric brakes includes a braking force controller. This controller adjusts braking forces based on an external command. The electric brakes show hysteresis characteristics: braking force rises with increasing current along a positive efficiency line and holds steady when current drops from a turning value to a holding threshold. Further current decrease leads to a reduction in braking force along an inverse efficiency line. The actual braking force has an increasing period when it follows the positive efficiency line and a holding period when it stays constant as current decreases to the holding threshold. If the vehicle does not meet an exclusion requirement and the required braking force is rising, the controller switches from the increasing period to the holding period when the actual braking force matches the target braking force. It switches back to the increasing period when the difference between the actual and target braking forces reaches a predetermined threshold.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 2, 2025Publication date: May 1, 2025Inventor: YUSUKE SHIBATA

Publication number: 20240250624Abstract: A motor control device controls energization to a motor having two three-phase winding sets configured such that their electrical angle phase difference is ±(?+120×n)° (0<?o?60°, n is an integer). A current redistribution section of a current command value calculation unit executes “current redistribution process” when a predetermined condition is satisfied. In the current redistribution process, the current redistribution section calculates a specific maximum current value, which is the maximum value of the absolute values of the three-phase current command values in each system, for each electrical angle. The current redistribution section redistributes the current command values of the two systems so that a ratio between I1_max(?)×(1+?(?)), which is the specific maximum current value of the first system after the redistribution, and I2_max(?)×(1??(?)), which is the specific maximum current value of the second system after the redistribution, approaches a predetermined target ratio.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 2, 2024Publication date: July 25, 2024Inventor: YUSUKE SHIBATA
