The first and second wireless signal processing units transmit and receive a wireless signal using first and second channels, respectively. The link management unit sets a multi-link to a first or second state. In the first state, a first link in which the first wireless signal processing unit is used and a second link in which the second wireless signal processing unit is used are each in an active mode in which communication is possible. In the second state, the first link is in the active mode or an intermittent operation mode in which an operation is intermittent, and the second link is an operation pause mode in which power consumption is less than in the intermittent operation mode.

A spoofing detection device includes a facial image sequence acquisition unit, a line-of-sight change detection unit, a presentation information display unit, and a spoofing determination unit. The facial image sequence acquisition unit acquires a facial image sequence indicating the face of a user. The line-of-sight change detection unit detects information about a temporal change in the line-of-sight from the facial image sequence. The presentation information display unit displays presentation information presented to the user as part of an authentication process. The spoofing determination unit determines the likelihood of the face indicated by the facial image sequence being spoofing on the basis of the information about the temporal change in the line-of-sight with respect to the presentation information.

A reliability calculator obtains a maximum signal amount and a background signal amount from signal amounts in the section images for each pixel of the distance image to calculate, as reliability of distance determination, a difference between the maximum signal amount and the background signal amount. As the reliability of distance determination, an analog amount can be obtained which serves as an index of the reliability of the distance value indicated by the distance image.
