  • Publication number: 20210026345
Abstract: A vehicle including: a communication section configured to receive operation information to operate a travel device from an external operation device; a memory; and a processor coupled to the memory, the processor being configured to: acquire peripheral information peripheral to a vehicle body from a peripheral information detection section, generate a travel plan based on the peripheral information, and control the travel device so as to perform autonomous driving in which travel is based on the generated travel plan, and perform remote driving in which travel is based on the operation information received by the communication section; and the vehicle further comprising a presentation device configured to present, at a vehicle exterior, identifying information received by the communication section, the identifying information relating to a user making use of transportation by the autonomous driving or the remote driving.

  • Publication number: 20210009164
Abstract: A vehicle control system comprising a vehicle control device, and a remote operation terminal. The vehicle control device controls a host vehicle capable of traveling in each of an autonomous self-driving mode, a remote self-driving mode, and a manual driving mode. The remote operation terminal remotely operate the host vehicle. The vehicle control device acquires a nearby-vehicle driving mode representing a driving mode of a nearby vehicle that is a vehicle near the host vehicle. In a case in which the nearby-vehicle driving mode of the nearby vehicle is a remote self-driving mode and a driving mode of the host vehicle is the autonomous self-driving mode, the vehicle control device controls travel of the host vehicle in the autonomous self-driving mode so that a distance between the nearby vehicle and the host vehicle becomes equal to or greater than a predetermined distance.

  • Publication number: 20210011683
Abstract: A vehicle control device including: a remote operation signal reception section configured to be input with a remote operation signal based on an operation by an operator at a command center external to a vehicle; a control section configured to control the vehicle in a remote operation mode, based on the remote operation signal output from the command center, in a state in which remote operation of the vehicle from the command center side has been enabled; and a speech communication device configured to enable conversation between an occupant of the vehicle and an operator at the command center.

  • Publication number: 20190293134
Abstract: An electric brake actuator configured to push a friction member onto a rotary body by advancing a piston by rotating an input shaft by an electric motor, including: a torque imparting device configured to impart, to an input shaft, a torque in a direction to retract a piston based on an elastic torque of a torsion spring and including a mechanism configured to allow a first retained portion provided at one end portion of the torsion spring to be retained by another one of a plurality of first retaining portions of a stator when the elastic torque exceeds a set upper-limit torque to decrease the elastic torque; and a mechanism configured to permit a second retained portion of a rotor to be retained by a second retaining portion provided at the other end portion of the spring to prohibit the elastic torque from becoming smaller than a set lower-limit torque.
