  • Publication number: 20080031292
Abstract: Provided are a small-sized, low-cost, and easy-to-use laser optical path length difference detecting device, a laser optical path length difference detecting device, and a coherent optical coupling device. The laser optical path length difference detecting device detects an optical path length difference between propagation paths of a first laser beam (1) and a second laser beam (2), which are mutually coherent when the beams are propagated through two arbitrary optical paths of a plurality of laser beam optical paths.

  • Publication number: 20060271934
Abstract: A computer-readable recording medium recording a service control program whereby providable services can be determined by using highly secure information. A device detector collects, via a controller, service profiles of devices connected to a network, and also acquires identification information of the controller. A usage condition acquisition unit acquires, from a management database, usage conditions for using nearby devices. An available service decision unit determines available services which can be provided by one or more devices including those on the network and which meet the usage conditions. A device controller remotely controls the device which is used for providing an available service among those determined by the available service decision unit, to provide the available service.

  • Publication number: 20060187857
Abstract: A device control service providing system includes a service request receiving unit that receives, via a network, a device control service request for controlling a group of electronic devices, and a process execution requesting unit that requests respective device control servers to execute device control processes for controlling an operation of the electronic devices in the group based on the request received, where one of the device control servers executes the device control processes corresponding to one group of the electronic devices.

  • Patent number: 6859842
Abstract: A method and apparatus for selecting paths to route incoming traffic through a data communication network, which is capable of effectively dispersing the traffic load to the selected paths on the network and effectively optimizing the use of network resources. In a communication network, a plurality of label switched paths between an ingress node and an egress node are provided. Incoming traffic at the ingress node is labeled and delivered through the network to the egress node. In a method and apparatus for selecting paths to route the incoming traffic through the network, a plurality of forwarding equivalent class elements (FEC) of the incoming traffic at the ingress node are allocated for the plurality of label switched paths. The labeled traffic is delivered on the plurality of label switched paths on an FEC-element basis so as to route the labeled traffic through the network to the egress node.

  • Patent number: 6760774
Abstract: A boundary apparatus on the transmission side provided on the boundary between an IP network accommodating a transmitting terminal and an ATM network separates the requests for bandwidth which are received from receiving terminals via boundary apparatuses on the reception side into a plurality of groups on the basis of a required bandwidth, establishes a point-multipoint connection between the boundary apparatus on the transmission side and each of the boundary apparatuses on the reception side for each group, and transmits the data from the transmitting terminal to each of the receiving terminals via the connection.

  • Patent number: 6571069
Abstract: The rays of light from an object under observation are condensed by objective lens. The incident light from the objective lens is reflected by plane reflector mirror to form a focused image on a detector. The plane reflector mirror floats in at least three reflector mirror floating vessels and even if the telescope tilts, a surface of the fluid in the vessel remains leveled and the plane reflector mirror does not vibrate. Further, the plane reflector mirror includes at least three pads, each of the pads floating in a corresponding reflector mirror floating vessel.

  • Patent number: 6563794
Abstract: Control messages for securing a communication quality are exchanged via a dedicated connection within an ATM network when a sending terminal in an IP network delivers data to a receiving terminal in another IP network via the ATM network. A resource reservation message sent from the receiving terminal is parsed by a boundary device located at the boundary between the IP and the ATM network, and a data transfer connection is established within the ATM network based on the information of the resource reservation message.

  • Publication number: 20020150399
Abstract: The rays of light from an object under observation are condensed by objective lens 1. The incident light from the objective lens 1 is reflected by plane reflector mirror 6 to form a focused image on detector 4. Plane reflector mirror 6 floats in reflector mirror floating vessel 7 and even if the telescope itself tilts, the surface of the fluid in the vessel 7 remains level and the plane reflector mirror 6 does not vibrate.

  • Patent number: 6005844
Abstract: A storage unit includes an alarm state/timer table, an alarm state table, an alarm state OR-representation table, an alarm state change OR-representation table, an alarm state latch circuit, and a statistical information memory. A collection unit extracts the identifier and data from a cell that passes through a switching unit. An update unit updates associated data in the storage unit. A readout unit reads the updated data and sends it to a call processing processor. An address generation section selectively generates the address for data needing to be updated. An adjustment section forces the readout unit to wait until a cell slot arrives in which no data is updated.

  • Patent number: 5610913
Abstract: Switching equipment in provided for performing a switching process of a fixed length cell consisting of data and a cell header. A line interface provided in the switching equipment accommodates a plurality of lines and, at the same time, processes the data from each line on a cell unit. The line interface includes individual units and a common unit. The individual units are individually connected to the plurality of lines accommodated therein and individually process the cells. The common unit is connected to the individual units and, at the same time, effects batch-processing of the cells processed by the individual units.
