  • Patent number: 7138078
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for manufacturing a high-quality foam that can be produced stably on an industrial scale and that affords excellent thermal insulation as a foam with thin cell membranes, which method ensures uniform molten mixture fluidity, which is an essential condition for achieving consistent foam quality, in the manufacture of a foam by mixing starch as one molten polymer compound with another polymer compound having a different melt viscosity, and to provide a foam manufactured by this method. Water is added to and mixed with a plant-derived fibrous material and starch to manufacture a foam of a plastic resin containing as compositional components starch and a plant-derived fibrous material such as pulverized paper, pulverized wood, or the like.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 3, 2002
Date of Patent: November 21, 2006
    Assignee: Tokiwa Printing Inc.

  • Patent number: 4772487
Abstract: Solid reagent film is formed in a micro-well for diagnosis of e.g. AIDS. The process is formed fully automatically without any manual operation. The process includes dispensing reagent solution in micro-wells of one or two rows simultaneously on sequentially feeding microplate, measuring the liquid level in the wells, incubating the wells to form solid film in the well surface, cleaning the dispense nozzles and measuring electrodes by cleaning fluid, dispensing protect cover forming liquid in the wells, measuring the liquid level in the wells, incubating the wells to form protect cover, cleaning the dispense nozzles and electrodes by cleaning fluid, and drying the wells. Also, storing and discharge the microplate relative to magazine, and transferring the microplate through the process are performed automatically.
