  • Publication number: 20030110757
Abstract: The present invention provides a fence chain indicator enabling a single type of sheet body made of either a luminous material or a luminescent material to be attached to fence chain ring bodies of different dimensions, and also enabling this sheet body to be securely fastened. The fence chain indicator comprises a sheet body 10 which has flexibility, is made from either a luminous material or a luminescent material, and provided with fastening portions 11, 12 which are opened, at the opposite ends thereof, and is constituted such that a fastening member 13, which is provided with engagement grooves 13a for locking, is integrally attached to one end of the above-mentioned sheet body 10; a mating portion 14 is formed in the other end for mating with the above-mentioned fastening member 13; and a through-hole 15 of the above-mentioned fastening member 13 is formed in approximately the center portion of the above-mentioned sheet body 10.

  • Publication number: 20030068195
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide a loop chain that has a desirable appearance in terms of design and is provided with attaching members, which are easily attachable to and detachable from the loops, and yet do not readily come off, and which are provided with either a light-emitting member or light-reflecting member. In a loop chain structure, an attaching members 3a, 4a, equipped with either a light-emitting member or light-reflecting member, is attached in a fixed condition so as to cover a loop 2.

  • Patent number: 6477385
Abstract: In a mobile communication system comprising: a plurality of first base stations each having a predetermined radio zone, for performing communication with one or more mobile stations; a plurality of second base stations each having a predetermined radio zone and each having a predetermined synchronous area, for performing communication with one or more mobile stations and, in addition, giving a synchronous standard to the plurality of first base stations with the radio zones being in contact with or overlapped with each other within the synchronous area; and an absolute synchronous station for giving a synchronous standard to each of the plurality of second base stations, the second base stations each control the timing of a control channel signal transmitted to the other second base stations based on the timing of a control channel signal transmitted by the absolute synchronous station.

  • Patent number: 5514018
Abstract: A support frame which provides controlled stability of a snowboard while allowing the user a greater amount of foot control. The support frame is embedded within the body of the snowboard. The support frame is essentially a figure-eight shaped structure. Generally at the center of the support frame, the cross members are secured to one another. The present invention provides a substantial advantage over the prior art in dampening vibrations which occur during use of the snowboard in conventional snowboarding conditions. The support frame may also be used in a wide variety of other sporting equipment.

  • Patent number: 5225004
Abstract: Bulk rapidly solidified magnetic materials having a density of greater than 90%, a thickness of at least 250 microns, and preferably a low oxygen content, are produced by a liquid dynamic compaction process which, depending upon the chosen operating conditions, can yield materials ranging from crystalline to partially crystalline to amorphous. The materials so produced are directly useful, i.e. without having to be reduced to a powder and consolidated into a shape, to produce permanent magnets.
