  • Patent number: 7987265
Abstract: An aggregation system includes: a load balancer for distributing accesses to a plurality of user proxy server devices, the accesses including operation information and ID numbers; a plurality of user proxy server devices, wherein the user proxy server devices include program device for identifying a user management server device where a user management server device number corresponds to a remainder M based on the remainder M obtained by dividing the ID number by a number N of the user management server devices, and for transferring the accesses to an identified user management server device; and a plurality of user administration server devices. The user administration server devices include computers sequentially assigned with the user management server device number, and program devices for functioning as a memory device and as a user management device for memorizing the operation information together with elapse time information.

  • Patent number: 7430603
Abstract: An aggregation system that can aggregate and order user operation information at high speed through a communications network. An ID number to the user is provided, and a proxy server forwards the operation information with the ID number from the user to a specific administration server based on the ID number. The administration server accesses at high speed the user information based on this m number. In addition the prescribed server uses a special passing sequence to collect and synthesize head-count data that corresponds to score information such as the elapsed time, etc. from the start of reception, and order information is stored in this passing sequence, and it is delivered to the administration server. Load balancers assign calls to optional proxy servers, the proxy server can relay the calls at high speed, and the administration server can reference the user information. In addition, expansion is easy since the processing is done by dispersal by means of a plurality of administration servers.

  • Patent number: 6924727
Abstract: A security system 63 and an electronic device group 62 to be stored in a home network 6 are controlled by a home server 61. A home network management facility 5 obtains status information of the electronic device group 62 from home server 61. Home network management facility 5 displays the status of electronic device group 62 on a display unit of a terminal 1 based on the received status information. Home network management facility 5 also displays a screen for prompting input of a control instruction of the home-located electronic devices that are included in the electronic device group 62. Based on control instruction received via home server 61, home network management facility 5 performs remote control of electronic device group 62.

  • Publication number: 20020184112
Abstract: A sale notice system wherein goods are sold by a sale notice device (3) based on a purchase request transmitted from a portable communication terminal (2A), and a sale notice device (3) transmits information corresponding to the purchase request, to a portable communication terminal (2B). When the sale notice device (3) receives the purchase request from the portable communication terminal (2A), the sale notice device (3) accesses a member database (31) to obtain settlement information of a user. And, the sale notice device (3) access goods database (32) to decide a purchase price, and transmits a settlement request, including the above information and price, to a settlement organization device (41) in a settlement organization (4). In the case that the settlement request is approved and the settlement is completed at the settlement organization (4), the sale notice device (3) transmits a delivery announcement notice to the portable communication terminal (2B) which a person at a place of delivery owns.

  • Publication number: 20020180579
Abstract: A security system 63 and an electronic group 62 to be stored in a home network 6 are controlled by a home sever 61. A home network management facility 5 obtains status information showing the status of the electronic device group 62 from home server 61 when a user of electronic device group 62 operates a terminal 1 to make a request to home network management facility 5. Next, home network management facility 5 displays a screen for showing the status of electronic device group 62 on a display unit of terminal 1 based on the received status information, generates display information for displaying a screen for prompting input of a control instruction of the home-located electronic devices to the user on the display unit of terminal 1, and transmits the display information to terminal 1. And, home network management facility 5 performs remote control of electronic device group 62 based on the received control instruction via home server 61 when obtaining the control instruction from terminal 1.

  • Publication number: 20020152091
Abstract: A broadcast from a broadcast station 1 is received by a STB (Set-Top Box) 2. Next, a service request, which is based on the broadcast data received by the STB 2 and personal information stored by a mobile terminal 5, is transferred via a public network 3 to a TMS (Transaction Management System) 4. Information corresponding to this service request (such as coupon data) is transferred via a mobile communication network 6 to the mobile terminal 5. The user of the mobile terminal 5 takes the mobile terminal 5 that stores the coupon data to an available facility 7 and by displaying the coupon data is able to receive a special service corresponding to the coupon.

  • Publication number: 20020092024
Abstract: The present invention enables participation of a large number of widely dispersed viewers in an auction program while maintaining a real time feeling of the program. A broadcast station 2 broadcasts program data of a pre-recorded auction program and report information data and EPG data for the information to be reported to the viewers in the program multiplexed as broadcast data. A TMS 3 system receives the broadcast data broadcast from the broadcast station 2 and distributes it to mobile phones 1. When the users of the mobile phones 1 input bids etc. for the auction while viewing the program, the mobile phones 1 transmit input price information to the TMS 3. The TMS 3 transfers the input price information to the broadcast station 2, and the broadcast management server 21 of the broadcast station 2 updates the report information data based on the information.

  • Patent number: 4569482
Abstract: A cleaning apparatus and method is disclosed which utilizes a nozzle generally comprising a cylindrical drum having external and internal air chambers, each of which terminates in a pipe having a rectangular cross-section. One of the pipes has a smaller cross-section than the other, and is disposed within the larger pipe. A high-pressure water pipe is concentrically disposed along the longitudinal axis of the smaller pipe. The space between the two pipes defines a passageway for a stream of compressed air which shapes the stream of water emanating out of the center of the smaller pipe into a jet of water having a bar-shaped cross-section, and a uniform pressure gradient at all points across this cross-section. The smaller pipe is provided with a symmetrical array of apertures for shunting part of the air stream flowing between the two pipes in a radial direction toward the pressurized stream.
