  • Publication number: 20230377145
Abstract: In one embodiment, a medical image diagnostic apparatus includes: a scanner configured to perform a pre-scan of an object and a diagnostic scan of the object after the pre-scan; and processing circuitry. This processing circuitry is configured to: generate a positioning image from data acquired by the pre-scan and a diagnostic image from data acquired by the diagnostic scan; generate a normal positioning image from the generated positioning image when it is an abnormal positioning image having an abnormality, the normal positioning image being an image in which the abnormality is corrected; and determine an imaging plane of the diagnostic scan from the normal positioning image.

  • Publication number: 20230342926
Abstract: A time phase determination apparatus according to an embodiment is a time phase determination apparatus for determining the range of a particular time phase in a contrast-enhanced image, and includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry acquires medical images at a plurality of different timings. The processing circuitry extracts a plurality of regions of interest on the basis of the medical images at the different timings. The processing circuitry generates a plurality of time intensity curves that are time intensity curves corresponding to the respective regions of interest. The processing circuitry determines the range of the particular time phase on the basis of the time intensity curves.

  • Patent number: 11660042
Abstract: A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus according to an embodiment includes: a coil configured to receive a magnetic resonance signal emitted from a subject due to influence of a radio frequency magnetic field; and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to detect at least one tissue from among a femoral head, the pelvis, an articular labrum, the pubic symphysis, the urethra, and the apex of the prostate of the subject, from a locator image based on the magnetic resonance signal and corresponding to a range including the prostate of the subject. The processing circuitry is configured to determine a region to be imaged of the prostate of the subject, on the basis of the detected tissue.

  • Patent number: 11650281
Abstract: An excitation region setting method according to an embodiment includes: receiving a designation of a first region from a user, the first region being designated in a distortion-corrected image that is a magnetic resonance image in which an effect of a distortion of a magnetic field has been corrected; calculating an actual excitation region where a subject is to be excited, based on the designated first region and the effect of the distortion of the magnetic field; and correcting imaging conditions including at least one of an orientation of a slice plane that defines the actual excitation region, or a frequency of a high-frequency magnetic field applied to the subject, in such a manner that the calculated actual excitation region becomes closer to an ideal excitation region represented as the first region.

  • Publication number: 20220309669
Abstract: A medical image diagnosis system according to an embodiment includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to detect a first area corresponding to an organ of an examined subject from a first medical image. The processing circuitry is configured to detect a second area corresponding to a tumor in the organ from one of the first medical image and a second medical image different from the first medical image. The processing circuitry is configured to specify a boundary of the organ on the basis of the first area and the second area. The processing circuitry is configured to determine a slice plane by using the boundary as a reference.

  • Publication number: 20220084202
Abstract: An information processing apparatus according to an embodiment includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to perform an image generating process of generating a plurality of medical images on the basis of a plurality of imaging parameter groups, the plurality of imaging parameter groups being updated by adversarial learning. The processing circuitry is configured to perform a discriminating process of discriminating whether or not each of the plurality of medical images is a target image acquired by a first medical imaging apparatus in the adversarial learning. The processing circuitry is configured to output one of the imaging parameter groups used for generating the medical images in the image generating process when the adversarial learning has converged.
